New Heights Tomorrow
Women of the region are invited to attend the Ninth Annual Women’s
Leadership Conference tomorrow, July 10th. This full-day event
is designed to encourage and motivate women of the region, for those
who are climbing the business ladder to be able to learn from women
who have made it, and for those already in leadership positions to be
uplifted and encouraged. The day begins with a motivating opening
session presented by Norma Noble. Lunch will include the “Taking
Care of Fashion Business Show” presented by Dillard’s Department
Store. The presentation will include tips for dressing for success and
two, $200 gift certificates will be given away for wardrobe purchases
from Dillard’s Department Store in Muskogee. An incredible panel of
“Legends” will share their personal stories and experience on their road
to success. The panelists include: Former Mayors of Muskogee Kathy
Hewitt and Wren Stratton, Former Mayor of Taft Lelia Foley Davis and
Former Mayor of Edmond Patrice Douglas.

female and the 4th Oklahoma Secretary
of Military and Veterans’ Affairs. She
participates and facilitates the Oklahoma
Military Strategic Planning Group that
helps insure the stability and growth of
the communities and facilities of the five
military installations in the state. She is
tasked to develop programs that support
current military and veterans individually
and in total.
