At Ridley we understand that your bike is a reflection of who you are, or at least
a little bit of your wild side. So we offer many optional features to make your
Ridley Auto-Glide truly custom. A Ridley is known for turning heads but adding
different handlebars, a special paint job or unique saddlebags really gets other
riders talking. A few of the many optional equipment choices are shown here,
with many more available on our website at www.RidleyMotorcycle.com.

Ridley Motorcycles — Get on and Ride
The spirit of an inventor with the heart of a dreamer led to the creation of the world’s
most innovative motorcycle company in 1995, Ridley. Ridley is the home of America’s only
fully automatic transmission motorcycles. Ridley Motorcycles combine innovation and
functionality with power and beauty, but it didn’t happen overnight. No one else had
successfully created a true automatic motorcycle until Ridley. Why? Because it’s hard!
Ridley has spent countless years in research and development to produce a transmission
that provides outstanding quality and performance. The first automatics were small
street legal bikes known as Speedsters, most of which are
still in service today. What was learned from those early
models was used to develop Ridley’s CVT Transmission,
first introduced in the Auto-Glide 740 in 2003. In 2004,
an upgraded CVT Transmission was placed in the AutoGlide series that took the bikes to the next level. This
transmission sends more power to the rear wheel producing
a smooth take off and superior acceleration. But Ridley’s
are more than innovative and powerful they are beautiful.
With Ridley you can just get on and ride. Let the Ridley
Auto-Glide do the work while you soak in everything fun
about riding a motorcycle, America’s only fully automatic
transmission Motorcycle.

The
World’s First
Ridley’s Automatic Transmission
Fully automatic means no clutch and no gears to shift,
Ridley’s Auto-Glide series does the work for you.
Ridley’s innovative CVT Transmission shifts continuously from
a low ratio gear of 6 to 1 to a 17% overdrive. This continuously
variable transmission design coupled with high quality parts results
in less maintenance, better gas mileage, and fewer distractions.
Riding a 2006 Ridley Auto-Glide gives you
an immediate feeling of freedom that
will bring a smile to your face. A Ridley
Auto-Glide has a lower seat height, weighs
less and has a lower center of gravity than
all other motorcycles in its class. This
unique combination means you don’t
have to wonder if you can handle a Ridley.
We build them with the rider in mind;
now isn’t that innovative?

AUTO-GLIDE
The Ridley Auto-Glide Series was designed by
people who ride motorcycles. That simple
fact has led to a bike that is the easiest in the
industry to ride. You don’t have to be a 6 foot 4
linebacker to handle a Ridley. Just about anyone
who yearns for the open road or a simple jaunt
around town, can climb on a Ridley Auto-Glide
and ride with confidence and with less to do
(remember it’s automatic). You can enjoy the
experience and quit worrying about shifting into
the right gear. Oh, and another thing, when you
climb on a Ridley you will be on the best looking
bike on the road.
What makes a Ridley so easy to ride?
“Modeled after Ridley’s original Auto-Glide 740,
the Classic offers 16” front and rear wheels with
a 130 Metzler front tire and a 160 Metzler rear
