The training and placements cell of Goa
Engineering College endeavors to provide the best
jobs to the students of the institution. The
Institutional emphasis on close links with the
industry and commerce is reflected in the work of
the training and placements cell. Each year the cell
co-ordinates conducts campus interview for
students of final year/pre- final year. Leading IT
and core companies Like IBS, TCS, Accenture ,
Cognizant, Thermax, ABB, Godrej Boyce and
Marico Sought to place Students with the essential
employability skills, the cell encourage in plant
industrial training and live industrial projects. The
cell looks forward to assist the students in
exploring their future career option.

The students of Goa Engineering College have a great
legacy of excelling in both academics and sports; and
it’s their compassion and zest for sports that they
proudly present Blitz 2011, an inter-college sports
festival that strives to put the best sportspersons from
colleges across the state of Goa head to head over a
three day battle, from 17th March to 19th March
2011, to determine who is the true champion. The
main objective behind Blitz 2011 is to have an
indigenous blend of talent, skill, endurance, and to
provide a platform for students to excel and showcase
their talent.
