Gail Tuttle
Vice President for Student Life
Gail Tuttle graduated from both Morehead State Univ. where she received
a BBA in Business/Marketing and from High Point Univ. where she
received a Masters in Public Administration. Gail serves on the Board of
Directors for the Piedmont Triad March of Dimes and the YWCA of High
Point, NC. She is also highly in the American Red Cross and Habitat for
Humanity. One of Gail’s most notable recognitions is her receipt of the
American Red Cross’s Distinguished Service Award in 1998.

Dr. Paul Kittle
Dean of Students
Dr. Kittle hails from Opelika, AL. Paul holds a master’s degree in Business
Administration and a Ph.D. in Administration of Higher Education from
Auburn University. He is a member of Phi Mu Delta national fraternity and
has served his fraternity on a national level serving as Vice President and
President. Paul is married and has three sons.

Assistant Director of Student Life
Joe Wheeless comes to us from Raleigh, NC and holds both a B.A. in
Broadcasting and an M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Western
Carolina University. Joe is an active member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Fraternity, serving on various chapter alumni boards. He also serves as a
class agent for the Christ School Class of 2004.

Lucy Weigel comes to us from Batesville, IN and graduated from the
University of Indianapolis with a B.A. in Fine Arts. Lucy serves as the coadvisor for High Point University’s Inter-Residence Council.

Lance Dunlap is a native of Reidsville, NC and received a B.A. in
Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. While a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, Lance was a re-founding father of
Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and a founding member of the Tarpeggios, a co-ed
a cappella singing group.

Sydney comes to us from Germantown, MD and is a High Point University
Alumna with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. Sydney serves as an Educational
Instructor at the High Point Detention Center, where she teaches classes
to inmates.

Nick Ruden is from our very own High Point, NC and is an HPU alumnus
with a B.A. in Political Science. Nick founded and plans the City of High
Point’s Annual Memorial Day Service, in addition he volunteers with the
High Point Community Foundation and is a recipient of the General's
civilian award from the 81st Infantry Division of the United States Army.
