Cleaning glass surfaces
Glass panes must be cleaned regularly, whereby the
frequency depends on the degree of contamination.
We recommend using clear water without any cleaning
additives or cleaner sprays and simple, soft cleaning
cloths or sponges.
However, alkaline suds and acids as well as fluoridecontaining substances must be avoided. Grease or
sealant residues are removed using commercial, nonaggressive solvents (spirits, isopropanol) and rinse
with plenty of water.
The use of such tools to clean entire surfaces is not
suitable for glass. These rules applied to all types of
basic and special glass.
The cleaning water as well as the cleaning cloths or
sponges have to be free of sand and foreign matter –
accumulations of dust which remain on the glass for
extended periods can lead to permanent damage
(dulling).
Cleaning with abrasive, i.e., scouring or scratching
materials (fine steel wool, glass scrapper, razor blades
with a flat angle to the glass, or the like) is only permitted for contamination at specific points.

LED – Presenting in best light
Conventional fluorescent lamps lose efficiency when the temperature falls. The efficiency
and thus luminescence of LED lighting, however, increases as the temperatures drops.
This implies that light diodes in cooling cabinets require significantly less energy. Furthermore, LED lamps are also more durable than conventional lighting tubes.

From these specifications, we determine the consumption values without DusarFrigo
glass systems. For comparison, the customer will receive the calculated energy savings
with the “Low Energy Lumenta” glass system.
