Treasurer’s Report
1. Rich provided update on bank statement. $7,627.49 ending balance
2. Voted and decided upon invoicing PSPE via email prior to meeting ($1,680 which was their
amount.)

1. Topic
It was decided that via an email vote that Think Like Engineer, Speak Like a Leader would be the
presenter. David Toler provided a description this morning.
i)
Does the speaker need any accommodations? Hotel? Travel expenses?
Speaker is from Lansdale Area and does not need accomodations
Decided to pay travel expenses from Lansdale + $500 + small gift
ii) Does the speaker need anything specific for the day of the banquet?
No
iii) Anything else?
Rich to contact hotel to verify setup requirements, food choices and deadline to final
headcount. Alan also volunteered via email to do this. Alan, Rich, and Mike to meet with
hotel
2. Minuteman volunteered to print programs. Will help with new layout. Timeline discussed to be
Jan ’16, about 2-3 week lead time. Mike will pickup
3. EBC may be used to make some reusable boards with membership logos and sponsors on it.
Alan to speak with owners. Need to get high quality logos from member societies. Dead item
4. Alan provided an update on LiN Cream from Air Products. Air products no longer providing
service free of charge. LVEC to inquire about paying for the ingredients to continue having the
LiN Cream at event due to popularity. Will wait for later in the year to contact Air Products.
Board did tentatively approve paying for ingredients if necessary.
Via email: Board approved to pay for ingredients and any other items Air Products needed as
well as providing dinner/seats for each of the volunteers
5. Web services:
a) Agnes?
b) PSPE verified their website use for registration.
6. Placement and timing of putting a SAVE THE DATE announcement on the website and to the
member societies so they know the date and place. Save the date not on front page of website!
Now that speaker is decided upon, should we update website with an announcement?

8. Sponsorship letters were to be sent out by October 31 last year. There may have been a draft
sponsor letter from last year. Mike provided with an electronic copy.
Can anyone volunteer staff or resources to send out the sponsorship letters or do we just do
email? Rich volunteered
9. David Toler to send out link, username, and password for Google Docs page for contacts list.
10. Go through Banquet Summary sheet on last page to see if there is anything that needs to be
ordered or done in January. Board went through list and verified.

a) Roast Chicken Breast Topped with Caramelized Onions & Brie ($25.95).
b) Herb Encrusted Sliced Tenderloin with Red Wine Demi Glace ($31.95)
c) Pan Seared Salmon ($28.95)
d) Vegetarian Meal: Chef’s Choice. Any recipient is welcome to take the lead in
negotiating this choice, else, I’m leaving it up to the chef. They’ve done vegetarian
lasagna, eggplant parmesan, black bean corn cakes with salsa, etc.

ii. Dessert: Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake
f) Hors d'oeuvres
i. Dave Toler is providing a fruit platter and veggie platter from Wegmans, and a
platter of pretzel bites from Philly Pretzel, and crackers for the cheese
ii. Dave heard back from Bernie Telatovich regarding his regular donation of
Cabot’s cheese. Dave to pickup from wegmans as well.

Bio for Andrei G. Jablokow, PhD
Dr. Jablokow has a diverse background in interpersonal communication,
speaking, learning facilitation, sales, marketing, engineering, education,
and accelerated learning. His background and skills enable him to guide
professionals in reaching their highest levels of mastery so they are able
to maximize and sustain their performance.
Andrei has a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison and a BS and MS from Drexel University. He's taught
engineering at Penn State University and Drexel University. Dr. Jablokow is currently the Associate
Department Head for Undergraduate Affairs of the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department
at Drexel University.
