Since the early 1990’s KEBCO has produced COMBIGEAR, a series of integral gearmotors in four configurations: In-line helical, offset helical, helical-worm, and bevel-helical. As the demand for the quality and performance of COMBIGEAR has expanded, so have the needs to make our product more flexible. This flexibility began with the ability to provide stand alone shaft-in/shaft-out units and metric C-face input units. Naturally with this additional feature in the COMBIGEAR product offering, the stand alone AC and C-face motor (IEC and NEMA) needed to follow. Existing and potential customers have quickly identified the high quality and performance advantages (see the following page for features and benefits) in the KEBCO AC motor program. Example: the requirement is a 2hp 1800 rpm motor with a brake, encoder and forced air cooling fan, B3 foot mounted with thermal windings protection switch, 230V / 460V, 60 Hz. 1) First, select the type and extension based on horsepower and speed from the Motor Data tables found on pages 6-13.
