NOUGAT Caltanissetta's nougat Traditional nougat, "Bloc" Ingredients: Almonds, Honey, Sugar, Glucose syrup, Pistachios, Albumen. This is the typical Caltanissetta’s nougat, friable, based on honey, almonds and pistachios. All ingredients selected among the better Sicilian production. Caltanissetta’s nougat become famous all over Italy at the time when Caltanissetta was an important economic center, thanks to extraction of sulfur. Nowadays, secrets of nougat production are shared by few masters. Geraci’s family is the only Caltanissetta’s family who has maintained over time production of typical nougat, maintaining the same recipe since 1870. This product can be consumed by people with celiac disease. Available in sizes of 50, 100 or 250 grams. NOUGAT TORRONE FANTASIA- Chocolate covered nougat - Torrone Splendor® Ingredients: Almonds, Honey, Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Pistachios, Albumen, Cocoa Paste, Cocoa Butter, emulsifying soy lecithin, aromas. Cocoa minimum: 55%. Crisp little nougats chocolate covered, so thin that are called "cigarettes". Their size make them really appreciated, while their appearance, gaily colored, make them perfect component for every personal or gift package. Every piece weighs about 12 grams. This nougat's label says "family nougat" and, considered that each piece weighs 100 grams, this definition seems correct. Available in pieces of 100 grams. MARZIPAN TRADITION Sicilian children wake up, on November, 2th, commemoration day of the deads, and go around the house looking for the gifts that deads leave to them. Originally made, during the Easter period, into monasteries by the nuns, these sweet are shaped as the Easter symbol, the lamb, and glorify the raw materials of Mediterranean world, almonds and pistachios. GERACI since 1870 We have been making our torrone since 1870 using the same craftsmanship and the same ingredients chosen from among the best local produce. Our torrone is now considered a tradition of Caltanissetta a feather in the cap of our Sicilian confectionery production which we are proud to contribute to.
