Welcome to the 31st annual Masters Cup!
Please take a moment to read the information
provided to ensure a complete understanding of
the event rules and schedule, to ensure you get
the most out of your tournament experience.
EVENT RULES:
• Check in at starters tent no later than 10
minutes before your scheduled tee time
(allow at least 30 minutes to park and shuttle in).
• There is NO PARKING OR DROPPING OFF at the
disc course. A parking attendant will direct you
to our new remote parking area as you approach
the course so you can shuttle in. It is your
responsibility to arrive early to shuttle or walk in to
to make your tee time.
• "Two Meter Rule" is in effect (806.01)
• All paved surfaces (on & beyond) are OB.
• No smoking allowed in the park (includes e-cigs)
Violation during play = immediate disqualification.
WARM-UP AREA
• Holes 20-24 are not in play and are designated
as warm-up area for all players. Arrive early.
Do not park on side of the road • No Dogs Allowed
SPECIFIC HOLE NOTES:
• Hole 1: Double Mando. If missed, 1 stroke
penalty and continue from Drop Zone.
• Hole 6: Water retention area (near road) is OB
and marked w/rope (no water exists at this time).
• Hole 27: TD Exemption  No Re-Tee. If tee shot
is lost, player receives 1 stroke penalty and must
continues from Drop Zone. If tee shot lands OB,
player receives 1 stroke penalty and has the
option to continue from where the disc crossed
OB or from the Drop Zone (Player Option).
EVENT SCHEDULE:
Amateur A-Tier Event:
-1 round per day (tee times)
- 24 holes all 3 days @ Dela DGC
- 8 shorter positions on Sunday (see hole notes)
Pro National Tour Event:
-1 round per day (tee times)
- 24 holes Friday + Saturday at Dela DGC
- 18 holes Sunday at DeLaveaga Golf Course
- No position changes (see hole notes for location)
Tee Time Order By Division
First tee time is 7:00 a.m with 10 minute intervals
A-Tier Weekend (same order all 3 days)
MS1 / MG1 / MJ2 / MA2 / FM1 / FA1 / MM1 / MA1
Pro NT Weekend (FPO tees last on Saturday)
FRI + SUN - MPS / MPG / MPM / FPO / MPO

and also for Santa Cruz.
The Masters Cup is fondly named in memory of
“Steady” Ed Headrick, inventor of the modern day
Frisbee and father of the sport of disc golf. In 1976,
“Steady” Ed established the Disc Golf Association
(DGA) in order to form a new international sport
and to promote the installation and use of disc golf
courses around the world.

Disc Golf Epicenter Since 1984
In 1984, disc golf hall of famer Tom Schot received
permission to build the first official 18 hole disc golf
course in Upper DeLaveaga Wilderness Park for
the 1984 World Disc Championships. Soon after, the
DeLaveaga Disc Golf Club (DDGC) was established
with a mission to develop and maintain the sport
of disc golf in the park, where 29 holes exist today.
As one of the oldest disc golf clubs in the world,
the DDGC has grown to over 250 members who all
help to make DeLaveaga one of the finest disc golf
courses on the planet. Today it is estimated that
DeLaveaga Disc Golf Course serves approximately
200 users every day, on average, totalling more
than 70,000 visitors per year.
