REVISED PLAN
The revised scheme now has larger, wider
recesses, resulting in the elimination of
these "corridors" so each bedroom will
have direct daylight access. By tapering
the corners away from windows, the
occupant will also have optimal views to
the street and maximum solar access.

PODIUM FACADE
r
The podium facade comprises of a series
of operable mesh screens. With the direct
interface to Cambridge Street, residents
have the option of opening / closing terrace
areas for user-controlled visual privacy.
Derived from the architectural concept, the
perforation pattern increases in porosity as
it moves towards the top of the podium. This
in turn responds to the need for increased
privacy as we get closer to the Ground level.

TOWER FACADE
As a collective of individual forms with an
interconnected floor plan, opportunities
for unique views and habitable spaces are
presented. Externally, curved, solid corner
forms help to accentuate the separation of the
four tower forms. Internally, these elements
resolve the privacy issues that would be
present in the recesses, whilst providing a
vantage view point for the bedrooms behind.

HANGING GARDENS
A 5m lightwell separates the building from the
Eastern boundary at the rear of the site. As a
non-trafficable area, it offers residents a high
level of amenity without the requirement for
privacy screens. Residents from East-facing
apartments enjoy their own private landscaped
outlook, acting as a visual extension to their
private outdoor space. By integrating
a landscaped zone through the site, the
hanging gardens provide an additional
connection to the adjacent reserve.

ROOFTOP FOOTPRINT
With a revised tower form, the rooftop level
now has a significantly increased setback from
the edge of the building. The balustrade has
been set back an additional lm in from Level 9,
reducing visual attention to the overall height.

I
The rooftop is a place of refuge and
relaxation that contrasts with the industrial
surroundings, optimising CBD views to the
South-West and park views to the North.
Proposed gas barbecue
for outdoor cooking and
dining
The areas are tailored to their orientation,
with spas and sun lounges to the North,
and a communal BBQ and produce
garden to the South. As a shared amenity
space, the rooftop creates a sense of
community between residents, whilst
connecting the four tower forms to reunite
the building with its surroundings.
