GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The air compressor unit consists of a
Transamerica
Delaval centrifugal
compressor
driven by a Westinghouse
electric
motor through a Transamerica
Delaval speed increasing
gear.
The
motor,
gear and compressor
are mounted on a common fabricated
bedplate.
The compressor
is a multistage
horizontal
shaft unit.
The compressor
unit
is equipped with a lube oil system and with the accessories
necessary
for
safe and efficient
operation
of the unit.
