Day 1: MADRID
Welcome to the Capital of Spain. The capital of Spain, offers the culture
and good times of a sophisticated, modern city and the charm and elegance of its early years.
Pick up your rent a car at airport and arrival to your hotel.
Among the splendid attractions of Madrid are the Prado Museum, home to
masterworks of Goya, Velazquez and El Greco; the 19th century Villahermosa Palace, now the Thyssen-Bornemizsa Museum; the Reina Sofia Art Centre;
the 18th century Royal Palace, situated on the lovely Plaza de Oriente; the
bustling Puerta del Sol with its many shops, restaurants and tapas bars; Rastro Market on Sundays, one of the oldest outdoor markets in Europe; and
Retiro Park for strolling while admiring local artists and buskers. Accommodation in your hotel.
Day 2: MADRID – ARANDA DE DUERO – LA RIOJA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. We will arrive to Aranda de Duero, the heart
of Ribera del Duero wines. First stop is in an underground historic wine cellar,
dated XVI. Afterwards, optional typical lunch in this cellar restaurant. Free
time to visit the city before continuing to La Rioja, where you will arrive half
an hour later.
Accommodation can be in a 12th c. building, or in a monastery, or in an
aristocratic house, all of them historic buildings nowadays good hotels. In
next days, you will discover the Rioja area. Haro is the center of wine production, and a well-known folkloric event is its annual “battle of wine”.

Day 3: LA RIOJA
Buffet Breakfast in your hotel. Today you will live the world of the wine.
Visit a traditional winery . Visit will show you the traditional way to made the
wine as well as the cemetery of wines guarded from years, waiting to be
opened. After the guided tour, a taste of wines will be served to you.
Visit a Modern winery with the contemporary techniques in an unique building build by the famous Santiago Calatrava.
Day 4: LA RIOJA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. Today on the way to the north of Spain, we
will visit the new landmark, a member of the Luxury Collection Marques de
Riscal winery, designed by renowned architech Frank O. Gehry. Wine tasting will follow your visit.
Day 5: LA RIOJA – MADRID, BILBAO OR SAN SEBASTIAN
Breakfast and you can go back to Madrid, where you will arrive in 3 hours
or you can continue to Bilbao or San Sebastian, located at 1 hr ½ from La

Day 1: MADRID - CUENCA
Pick up your rent a car at the airport and a short drive will get you to Parador de
Cuenca. The magical medieval fortified city of Cuenca, a Unesco World Heritage site
since 1996, awaits you with its incredible Hanging Houses (Casas Colgadas), cathedral,
San Miguel Church, San Pedro Church, among other fascinating monuments. Discover
the beauty of the nearby Enchanted City, where stone comes to life. The Museum of
Abstract Art will appeal greatly to art lovers.

1998, is the hometown of Cervantes. It invites you to discover the University, Plaza de
Cervantes, the ruins of Santa María de la Mayor, the colleges of Sta. Ursula and Escritorios, the Cathedral of Stos. Justos y Pastor, and much more. Do not forget to walk
the crowded Calle Mayor, where you will find the house where Cervantes was born.

Day 4: SEGOVIA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. Highlights: The Old town of Segovia and it´s Roman
Aqueduct, a Spanish World Heritage Site since 1985, surprises visitors at every corner
they turn. Its buildings speak of times long past, as remote as its magnificent Roman
aqueduct, which recalls the immense power and reach of the Roman Empire. Nearby
must-sees include the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso (18th-century palace and gardens), and Riofrio Palace. Visitors to Segovia must also be sure to try the
most famous local dish of roast suckling pig.

Día 1& 2: SEVILLE
Arrive in Seville and pick up your rent a car at airport and proceed to your centrally
located hotel. Seville is the capital of Andalusia and has a chequered history having
been ruled by the Romans, the Visigoths and the Moors before the Christians finally
reclaimed it in the 13th century. The city’s character reflects this particularly in the
architecture of Moorish, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque style. Seville city centre
is a compact maze of narrow streets with a fascinating choice of places to visit. The
medieval Jewish quarter and the Barrio Santa Cruz are buzzing with activity by day or
by night. Seville still preserves the lushness and sensuality of Al-Andalus.

Day 4: RONDA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. Ronda is one of the most spectacularly located towns in
Spain, and sits on a massive rocky outcrop. It is also in the area famous for the Pueblos
Blancos (White Villages) such as Grazalema and Ubrique. The Puente Nuevo or New
Bridge, an impressive 18th century construction over the dramatic El Tajo Gorge (over
100 m deep), joins old Ronda with new Ronda.
Day 5: RONDA - GRANADA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. Next head to Granada, one of Spain’s treasures and the
last stronghold of the Moors.
Day 6: GRANADA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. Granada is perhaps most famous for its exquisite Alhambra, a complex of palaces built around courtyards of flowering trees, pools and
fountains. Here also is the splendid Generalife; the summer palace and gardens of
the sultans. The view of the Alhambra from the Plaza San Nicolas is stunning. Also Sacromonte, were Granada´s gypsies settled and flamenco can be heard daily. Also
visit the hauntingly beautiful Royal Chapel where the lead coffins of the catholic monarchs, Fernando and Isabella, who finally re-conquered Granada and unified Spain
in 1492 can be seen.

Day 7: GRANADA-CÓRDOBA

city of Cordoba, once the great Moorish capital of Al Andalus, and famous for its well
preserved old Jewish quarter and mighty Mezquita (mosque). A walk around the heart
of Cordoba and the old Jewish quarter gives the sensation that little has changed
since the 10th century. Cordoba’s Mosque or Mezquita is without doubt one of the
most famous constructions in all of Andalusia and is one of the largest mosques in the
Islamic world. Visit the synagogue, the only one remaining in Andalusia, dating from
1315. The walls are adorned with plaster work of plant motifs and epigraphs referring to
the psalms, and Song of Songs - a book of the Hebrew Bible. Cordoba also has several
interesting museums including the Bullfighting Museum, the Diocesan Museum and the
Archaeological Museum. It is also considered to be the birthplace of flamenco.

la Plata, Merida is heir to a magnificent Roman legacy. The theatre, the amphitheatre
and the Temple of Diana make this city the ancient capital of Roman Lusitania, one
of the best preserved archaeological sites in Spain, reason why it was declared World

Day 10. - BILBAO
Buffet Breakfast in your hotel. Private tour with local guide: great architectural and infrastructure projects have been the driving force of the urban
and economic regeneration of the city,the Euskalduna Conference and
Music Centre, Norman Foster’s Underground, Calatrava’s airport, the towers
designed by the architects Arata Isozaki and César Pelli. Includes tickets to

Day 11. - BILBAO - OVIEDO
After breakfast in your hotel, drive to Oviedo. On the way you can visit on
your own Picos de Europa and Covadonga, a traditional spot where nature
and spiritualism unify in a unique environment. It’s not just difficult to find
words to describe the landscape in the Picos de Europa National Park, it’s
almost impossible! Everything in this setting in northern Spain is spectacular.
We will take the cable car, it is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular
trips you can take in a cable car across northern Spain, In about 5 minutes
will save a drop of 753 meters, sliding on a cable of 1450 meters. the rocky
crests, the gorges, the valleys, the vast glacial lakes, the leafy forests… You
can rest assured that you’ll be absolutely amazed at everything you see.

own. A pedestrian historic quarter makes strolling in Oviedo a pleasure, from

Félix to the Camposagrado. The tower of Oviedo’s Cathedral marks the
starting point of any tour of the provincial capital.
Day 13. -OVIEDO - SANTIAGO COMPOSTELA

will visit the new landmark, a member of the Luxury Collection Marques de
Riscal winery, designed by renowned architect Frank O. Gehry. Wine tasting will follow your visit.
Day 8: LA RIOJA - OLITE
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. A short drive wil get you to Olite, a Historic-Artistic site where traces of a Roman and Gothic presence can be found.
Accomodation wil be at the town’s Parador ,located within stone walls that
conceal medieval treasures.
Day 9: OLITE - CASTLE OF JAVIER - PAMPLONA

Castle of Javier located on a hill in the town of Javier town, built in the
10th century. Afterwards, drive to Pamplona the historical capital city of

Day 10: PAMPLONA - HONDARRIBIA

Day 11: HONDARRIBIA - SAN SEBASTIAN - BILBAO

Donostia an visit on your own, on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, the seaside
