Can I buy additional individual game playoff tickets through the Capitals? If you do not wish to renew your plan at this time, you must pay in full for your 2010 Stanley Cup Playoff tickets based on the season ticket holder discount. In order to participate in our Pay As We Play program, you must renew your season tickets for the 2010-11 season and make a payment through Power Pay, 50/50 or 100% now. If there are additional playoff tickets available for individual games they will be made available to planholders via an online pre-sale. Due to very limited availability there is not a guarantee that we will have additional playoff tickets for purchase. Can I use my 2009-10 TicketMaster Ticket Exchange resale credits towards my playoff payments? No, any resale credit accrued by the resale of 2009-10 regular season tickets and 2010 playoffs can only be used towards the 2010-11 regular season. Resale credit for tickets sold prior to January 31, 2010 will be noted on your 2010-11 renewal invoice. Resale credit for tickets sold after January 31, 2010 will automatically be applied to your July 15 payment for your 2010-11 season tickets. My Power Pay Plan does not finish until March 2010. Will I have to make two payments in March, one payment for my 2009-10 tickets and also start paying for my 2010-11 season tickets? Yes. There will be some overlap in the payment plan process. If you are signed up for the 2009-10 Power Pay plan your final payment is March 15, 2010. Once we receive your renewal and payment information for the 2010-11 tickets we will charge your credit card for that first payment immediately. The second Power Pay date of the 2010-11 season will be May 15. If I share my account with someone, can we purchase additional 16-game playoff packages using Pay as We Play, as well as our regular seats? No. We will not have additional 16-game 2010 playoff packages available for purchase. When will my playoff tickets be mailed? Playoff tickets will be mailed to the address on your account via a designated mail carrier no earlier than April 1, 2010 but prior to the first playoff game. More details will follow as we approach the playoffs. What if I don’t want to purchase playoff tickets? We hope you will join us for the excitement of Capitals playoff hockey; however you may choose to only renew your Capitals account for the 2010-11 season at this time. Can I use multiple cards for my Power Pay payments? No, we need one consistent credit card for payments. What happens if I miss a payment or my credit card is declined? If a problem arises concerning your payment, you will be contacted by the Washington Capitals to provide a valid credit card. Your online account manager privileges will be suspended until the payment is made and your tickets may be blocked. If you are unable to arrange for regular monthly installments, you will be removed from Power Pay and will need to pay your remaining balance in full to avoid cancellation of your season tickets. Frequently Asked Questions Relocation and Additional Season Tickets How do I relocate my season tickets? What locations will be available at Select-A-Seat? We will host our 2010-11 Select-A-Seat relocation event at Verizon Center (Date TBD). You must renew your current seat location for the 2010-11 season in order to receive an invitation to the Select-A-Seat event. Specific seat locations will not be available until the day of the event. Select-A-Seat inventory comes from seat locations owned by nonrenewing 2009-10 full season ticket holders. Please note that we anticipate a very high renewal rate and available seat locations may be limited. How does Select-A-Seat work? In order to be fair to all our full season ticket holders, you will be assigned a time slot based upon the number of consecutive years you have been a full season ticket holder. The earliest time slots are reserved for those who have had full season tickets the longest. When you arrive at Verizon Center, we will have a brief introduction and then you’ll be invited into the seating areas of the arena. If you see a tagged seat location you would like to relocate to, please locate the nearest Capitals representative to assist you. I would like to add season tickets, how do I do that? At this time, we do not have any full season tickets available. 2010 playoff seating chart PRICE PER GAME Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Gate* STH Gate* STH Gate* STH Gate* STH VIP - A $354 $250 $413 $300 $472 $350 $531 $400 VIP - B $252 $165 $294 $198 $336 $231 $378 $264 Center Preferred $156 $100 $182 $120 $208 $140 $234 $160 Lower Preferred $126 $77 $147 $92 $168 $107 $189 $122 Loge Preferred $108 $60 $126 $72 $144 $84 $162 $96 Mezzanine Center $90 $47 $105 $56 $120 $65 $135 $74 Mezzanine End $75 $34 $84 $40 $96 $47 $108 $54 Mezzanine Corner $65 $27 $70 $32 $80 $37 $90 $42 For more information, please call 202.266.2350 or email [email protected] * Gate prices subject to change. 2010-11 full season seating chart 2010-11 GATE PRICE* red, white, blue FULL SEASON RENEWAL PRICE** FULL SEASON PRICE*** PERCENT SAVINGS**** VIP A $275, $290, $305 $246 $251 17% VIP B $190, $205, $220 $156 $161 25% Center Preferred $115, $130, $145 $96 $99 27% Lower Preferred $90, $105, $120 $71 $74 33% Loge Preferred $75, $90, $105 $56 $59 38% Mezzanine Center $60, $75, $90 $40 $43 46% Mezzanine End $45, $60, $75 $29 $32 51% Mezzanine Corner $35, $50, $65 $24 $27 51% * Gate prices subject to change. **To qualify for 2010-11 renewal price you must renew by March 12, 2010 deadline. ***2010-11 Full Season ticket price after March 12, 2010 deadline. ****Based on 2010-11 Full Season Renewal Price and average of gate prices.
