“By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and
he who had received the promises was offering up his only
begotten son; it was he to whom it was said, “IN ISAAC YOUR
DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED.” He considered that God is able to
raise people even from the dead, from which he also received
him back as a type.” (Hebrews 11:17–19, NASB95)

By myself- declares Jehovah
I will greatly bless you
I will greatly multiply
Your seed shall possess
In your seed- all the Gentiles will be blessed
As we celebrate His provision let’s keep a few things in
mind:
•We are fallen – we can – like Abraham- turn His
provision into something we idolise, to the point – we
become the providers
•God’s provision- may really cost- it may not seem like a
blessing
•Whatever & however He decides to provide- it is for His
glory and for our good
•His greatest provision- Jehovah Jireh- is seen in how He
provided His Son- His only Son
and He did not spare the knife
