April 8-10 Rise & Shine Pa jama Party Have you been missing Yogi Bear, Boo Boo™ & Cindy Bear™ all winter? We have! Come in your comfiest pajamas to our Friday Night Movie with cookies & milk, help Ranger Smith™ wake the Bears up from their winter hibernation during our Wake Up the Bears Parade, and dance the night away Saturday at our Sock Hop. After a day of mystery take a ride on our glow stick wagon ride with Yogi Bear. April 22-24 Easter Eggstravaganza Hop on over to Jellystone Park™ for some Easter Fun. Catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny hopping through the park and join in our crafts & egg dying, Easter egg hunts for all ages, candy bar bingo, and our annual Sunday Morning Pancake Breakfast. April 29-May 1 Jellystone Park™ Fear Challenge Have you eaten bugs or swam in a pool of mud? If you think you have what it takes, compete in our Fear challenges, and prepare for a messy fun time! Reward yourself after the challenges at our Karaoke Dance Party. 4 May 6-8 Cindy Bear Mother’s Day Prom – Pool Opens Treat your mom to a weekend of relaxation at Jellystone Park. Help your mom get ready for our Mother’s Day Prom with a Makeover Relay Race, and make your mom a corsage to wear to the Prom. May 13-15 8th Annual Amazing Chase Get together with your family or a group of friends and compete in the Jellystone Park Amazing Chase. Complete tasks, follow clues, and solve the puzzles in our ultimate campground race. Our Amazing Chase this year will be benefiting one of our favorite charities; the $5 entry fee will be split 50/50 with the winning team and the American Cancer Society. May 20-22 Yogi Bear Jungle Safari — Water Zone Opens Lions, and tigers, and monkeys, oh my! Join us on our wild Jungle Safari! During craft time you can make masks, get your face painted, and transform yourself into your favorite jungle animal. Go on our safari scavenger hunt and find all the animals hiding in Jellystone Park. Donate a cake and/or join us for our cake walk on Saturday night to support the American Cancer Society. May 27-30 Fly Me to the Moon Weekend/ Memorial Day Camping at Jellystone Park is the best place to view all the stars in the sky, as well as maybe a UFO or two!! Spend the Memorial Day Weekend with us and enjoy all the Outer Space activities we have planned for you. Build your own rocket ship and enter it in our Blast-Off contest, create your own candy solar system, and dance the night away at our Moon Walk Beach Party. Purchase 50/50 raffle tickets benefiting the American Cancer Society, winner will be announced Sunday at our annual Bingo. June 3-5 Peace, Love & Jellystone Park/VW Naturalbus Rally Break out your tie dye clothing and head on down to Jellystone Park for the annual Naturalbus Rally where you will find the park full of VW buses of all types. The VW Bus Rally will again be raffling off a VW Bus and holding a mini golf tournament. All proceeds are donated to the Ronald McDonald House. June 10-12 Cindy Bear Happily Ever After Birthday Party King Yogi Bear and Prince Boo Boo request your presence in celebrating Queen Cindy Bear’s Birthday. Dress as a valiant Knight or a lovely Princess and join in the celebration. Make a princess crown or knight’s sword at our fairytale crafts, storm the forts and fight of the dragons during our Rescue the Princess relay races, and dress your best for our Royal Glow Stick Beach Party. Bring Cindy Bear a canned good as a birthday present; she will be donating them to the local food pantry. June 17-19 Father’s Day: Battle of the Sexes Weekend This weekend pits Dads against Moms and brothers against sisters; it’s all about the battle of the sexes! Compete in trivia games, high heel relay races, throwing contests, and our campground triathlon. The stronger sex will be announced at our Battle of the Sexes Dance Off Beach Party. June 24-26 Wet & Wild Weekend Summer is in full swing and it’s time to cool off! Join us for our wet & wild relay races, catch a ride on our super soaker wagon ride, and get dunked in our water balloon dunking booth. Enter in our Ice Cream Eating Contest and come out for our Karaoke Party. 5 July 1-4 Boo Boo 4th of July Carnival Step right up folks, don’t be shy…Boo Boo has a fun filled 4th of July weekend planned for you. You can play in our Carnival Bounce House, dunk our staff at the dunking booth, and try your luck at the carnival games. Don’t forget our annual money Bingo, horseshoe tournament, 4th of July Golf Cart & Bicycle Parade, and 3rd Annual Kiss a Pig Contest. Donate money and vote for which staff member you would like to see kiss a pig, all money will be donated to the Special Olympics. July 8-10 Chocolate Lovers Weekend There’s nothing better than a great weekend at Jellystone Park, except when Jellystone Park is all about chocolate! Be a part of our chocoholic weekend; we’ll have a chocolate slip-n-slide, candy bar, bingo, chocolate pudding eating contest, chocolate finger painting, make your own chocolate covered pretzels and come to our Glow Stick Dance Party to end the weekend. July 15-17 Boo Boo Dino-mite Birthday Bash Boo Boo is going prehistoric this year for his birthday! Take part in all that he has planned for you, from our dinosaur egg hunt, to our brontosaurs races, and if you’re lucky you may even catch a glimpse of a dinosaur wandering around the campground. Bring a canned good as a birthday present for Boo Boo to be donated to the local food pantry. Saturday night, join the bears for a DJ Dance Party on the Beach. July 22-24 Christmas in July Beach Party It may be the middle of the summer but we’re ready to celebrate Christmas. Just picture tropical hot chocolate, candy canes and leis, palm trees covered in tinsel, and gifts all make up a wonderful Christmas in July spent together with family and friends. Yogi is having a Christmas in July Kids Book Swap this weekend. Bring a new or gently used book to swap with other campers. July 29-31 Yogi Bear Mardi Gras Mambo Yogi Bear is ready for some Mardi Gras fun, so head on over to Jellystone Park and get ready to Mambo! Decorate your bikes and golf carts for our Crazy Hat Mardi Gras Parade, and join us Saturday night for our annual Mardi Gras Mambo Dance and Fashion Show. August 5-7 Yogi Bear Idol Are you the next Superstar to be discovered at Jellystone Park? Jump up on stage and show off your talents at our annual Yogi Bear Idol Competition. Every Idol needs a great cheering section, so bring your friends and family for this star-studded weekend! August 12-14 Yogi Bear Cowboy Birthday Roundup Saddle up, it’s time for all ya’ll cowboys and cowgirls to ride on over to Jellystone Park. Wild Outlaw Yogi Bear has stolen all the pic-a-nic baskets and Ranger Smith needs your help! Head on down to Jellystone Park for our horse races, lasso contest, barrel racing, and our Wild West Water Gun Showdown. So jump on your horse and mosey on over to Jellystone Park for some boot stompin’ fun! Bring Yogi Bear a canned good as a birthday present; he will be donating them to the local food pantry. August 19-21 Pirates Ahoy! Weekend Ahoy Matey! Prepare for an adventure on the high seas with Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, & Cindy Bear. Dress in your best Pirate attire and come to our pirate ship wagon ride, treasure map crafts, and walk the plank pool games. Build your own cardboard box Pirate Ship and see whose can withstand the treacherous high seas in our swimming lake. 6 August 26-28 Hawaiian Luau/ Mr. Jellystone Park Pageant Hula on down to Jellystone Park for fun in the sun! Join us at our Pig Pickin’ dinner and dance the night away at our Tiki Luau. Ladies enter your favorite guy in our 6th annual Mr. Jellystone Park Pageant. They’ll walk our sandy red carpet and one will be crowned Mr. Jellystone Park 2011. September 2-5 Jellystone Park Sports Weekend/Labor Day Spend your Labor Day Weekend with us at Jellystone Park full of fun fall sports and activities. Sign up for our horseshoe and cornhole tournaments, gear up for a game of Flag football or Frisbee golf, and run in our Jellystone Park races. Join us for a night of fun at dancing at our Beach Party, and win big at money Bingo. We will also be raffling off tickets to the Martinsville Speedway Race on Oct. 30. September 9-11 Ranger Smith Super Hero Birthday/10th Annual Chili & Soup Cook Off Ranger Smith has decided to celebrate his birthday with us this year! Dress as a super hero and join us at his party! Also, test your best chili or soup recipe out at our annual chili & soup cook off. The best of the best will win a prize. You do not have to enter in our cook off to enjoy all the fun. Bring your friends and family, along with a side dish or dessert to Ranger Smith’s Birthday Dinner. After dinner stick around for Bingo. September 16-18 Bluegrass Weekend If you are a Bluegrass musician or just a fan Yogi has planned this weekend just for you! All the ghosts and goblins descend on Jellystone Park this month for our Halloween Celebration with Yogi Bear, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear. Join us for games, arts & crafts, pumpkin carving/painting, costume contests for you and your dog, and trick or treating. Decorate your site to spook our judges for a chance at winning a cash prize. Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for our Haunted Wagon Ride, and join us for our Monster Mash Dance Party! November 11-13 Early Thanksgiving/Hibernation Weekend Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and Cindy Bear are thankful for a fun season, but it’s time for their long winter’s nap! Celebrate with us for our 10th annual Thanksgiving dinner. We’ll supply the turkey, gravy, stuffing, salad and rolls. We ask that our guests bring either a side dish or dessert to our Thanksgiving feast. Join us after dinner for our last Bingo of the 2011 season!
