HELP FOR FILLING UP OF THE FORM AND SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
MHADA welcomes all the winners of the MHADA lottery 2013. From 2013, we have shifted to
Online processing of the application and documents instead of manual handling of the
application. Online process of submission, processing and deciding on the applications is fast,
transparent and easy. You have to enter into the application, by logging on to the website
http://postlottery.mhada.gov.in and entering your credentials for accessing your application
form. The entire process of making application through the Post Lottery Software is explained in
the steps below.
STEP I - ACCESSING THE POST LOTTERY SYSTEM
Please visit Hompage of the MHADA Lottery portal - https://lottery.mhada.gov.in and click on
the link “Go to Post Lottery” to access the Post Lottery Software”

The following screen (Screen 1 - Login Page) will appear.

STEP II - LOGGING IN TO THE POST LOTTERY SYSTEM
a.
If your mobile number has not changed
In case your mobile number given at the time of applying for the lottery, has not
changed, then
i. Enter your 10 digit application number which was given to your application at the
time of lottery in the space for Username/Application Number.
ii. Click on Submit button. You will get a One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile
in few seconds. Kindly note that the OTP will remain valid for 10 minutes, after
which it will become invalid and you will have to re-generate your OTP by going
back to the Login Page.
iii. Enter the OTP in the space given for OTP and Click the Submit button.

On successful validation of the entered OTP, the following screen (Screen 2 – My
Profile) will appear. This is your profile containing all the information which you
had submitted at the time of filling up the form for lottery.

If your mobile number has changed
In case your mobile number given at the time of applying for the lottery has changed
due to any reason after the application for lottery, you have to update your mobile
number before you can enter into the Post Lottery System. For this you have to click at
the Click Here link given above the Submit button as shown in following Screen (Screen
3 – Login Page).

On clicking on “Click Here” Screen 4 – Change Mobile Number will appear.

Number, PAN
Number, Old mobile
number and New
mobile number
Click on Submit
i.
Enter your application number, PAN card number provided at the time of lottery
application, old Mobile number provided at the time of application and New mobile
number in the space given for it. All these details are mandatory to be entered.
ii.
After entering all the above details, click submit button at the bottom.
Kindly Note: If the application number and/or PAN card number and/or of the old
mobile number is not entered as per the already available information with MHADA your
new mobile number will not get updated
iii.
On successful validation of application number, PAN card number and Old Mobile
Number, your new mobile number will be updated in the system
iv.
On successful updation of the mobile number, you will get an SMS stating “Your mobile
number registered for MHADA Housing Lottery has been updated. All future SMS will be
sent to you new number.”
v.
After updation of mobile number, for logging into the post lottery software, same
process as described in section-a above needs to be followed. Kindly Note – Your OTP
will be sent to your new mobile number
STEP III - FILLING UP THE PART B OF THE FORM AND UPDATING YOUR PROFILE
a.
Updating your profile
After completing the Step II, you will come to My Profile (Screen 2). My profile contains all the
information given by you at the time of application for the lottery. Now you have to update the
following five information:
(i)
Upload your Photograph

You will need a scanned passport size photograph of size between 0 kb to 300 kb. If you
do not have a passport size photograph in digital form, you can get your photograph scanned
and converted in to digital form ( .jpg, .jpeg format) of size given above. Please note that the
size of the photograph should be in the range given above, or otherwise you will not be able to
update your profile and go ahead. Please also ensure that the photograph should be clear so
that you can be identified from it. It will be used to verify the applicant at the time of
possession. A photograph which does not belong to the applicant or an invalid photograph will
be rejected. You need to click on the choose file as in Screen 5a.

You will be asked to select a photograph of your as shown in Screen 5b. After selecting the
photograph, please click Upload button given below the space for the photograph. The
photograph will get uploaded.

Update your UID
At the time of application for the lottery, providing UID was not mandatory, however
government vide its order no. Baithak 2012 / Pra. Kra. 351 / Zopsu 1, dated 9 August, 2012; has
instructed that UID of the applicant will be necessary before giving possession. You have to
enter your UID number in the space given as shown in the Screen 6a. Remember that if you do
not have UID even now, you can fill the application and submit it. However you are advised to
get the UID number before the possession and update your profile once again.

Update your Email ID
At the time of application for the lottery, providing email ID was not mandatory,
however in the Post Lottery System, the Email is necessary because, all the notification about
completion of various process in the Post Lottery System will be done through SMS as well as
email. So the Email ID is required and necessary now. You have to write your correct Email ID in
the space provided for email ID as shown in Screen 6b below.

You can also change and update your mobile number from the My Profile page as shown
in the Screen 6c.

Update your Marital Status
In case of an applicant who has got married after making the application for lottery, the
marital status can be changed to Unmarried from Married as shown in the Screen 6 d.

STEP IV - FILLING UP THE PART B OF THE FORM
a.
Information as required in the various fields in the Part B of the form has to be filled by
MHADA POST LOTTERY SYSTEM
you correctly. The following information need to be filled.
(i)

Agricultural land: land area has to be filled in Acres.
If you have source of income from your own Business/ Service/Other Income source, fill
the respective details.
Please fill the details required vide regulation No. 19.

b.
Submitting and printing the form
After filling up all the information in the Part B of the form, please click the Save button
at the bottom to save all the information filled. Then click the submit button to print the form. A
printable form will appear in a separate tap/window. You have to print the form and sign it for
submission at the Bank.
STEP V - SUBMISSION OF THE DOCUMENTS
a. The list of document's to be submitted by applicant is available and can be accessed by
clicking on “DOCUMENT LIST” as shown in the screen.

b.
Requirements of the documents
You can download list of document with proper formats by clicking ‘Download
Document Formats’ in the screen shown below. After downloading, take print of required form,
fill respective forms and submit to bank.
c.
Submission of documents
After completing all the documents as in a. above, along with the checklist and the
printed and signed form containing photograph; should be physically submitted to one of the

branches of the Axis Bank as mentioned in Annexure A.
You will be given a receipt by the bank in the checklist page containing the list of documents
submitted at the bank.
d.
Viewing the documents uploaded by the bank.
The documents submitted by you will be uploaded by the bank in your account. After
your documents are uploaded by the bank, you will be able to see the uploaded documents by
clicking ‘Document List’ as shown in the Screen 7 below

SUBMISSION OF SURRENDER APPLICATION
In case applicant want to surrender your tenement, you have to submit an application
which can be filled online by clicking the Surrender property button as shown in the Screen 8
below and filling up the details required. A physical copy of the letter generated through the
system duly signed by the applicant has to be submitted to the Marketing department of
MHADA for further processing. The refund of EMD will be subject to the terms and conditions of
MHADA.

CHECKING STATUS OF THE APPLICATION ONLINE
You can check the status of your application online by first logging in to your account as
described in Step I. The status of application will be available in the application as shown in the
Screen 9 shown below

CHANGE IN DETAILS OF THE APPLICATION SUBMITTED
You are requested to fill your application and attach all the documents required along
with it correctly and submit it to the Bank. You will not be allowed to change any details given in
the application form or documents submitted after the bank uploads the documents into the
Post Lottery System.
