collection.
What’s On?
As usual, we’ve got lots of things on for all the family, including
authors, Shakespeare, opera, and lots of stories and crafts. For
National Libraries Day, write a poem telling us why you love your
library for the chance to win a Kindle Fire.
All our events are free but we suggest a donation of £2 for our
adult author events. There is limited space in most libraries so
make sure you get a ticket in advance to avoid disappointment!

Nicola Cornick

Nicola is a bestselling novelist and
historian, who published her first
Regency romance with Harlequin
Mills & Boon in 1998. Her latest novel,
House of Shadows, is a thrilling time
slip novel which tells the true historical
story of the secret marriage of William Craven and Elizabeth,
the Winter Queen, daughter of King James I.
Meet Nicola to find out more about the history of the Craven
family and the Winter Queen; her experience of writing about
Ashdown House and her career as one of the first British Mills &
Boon writers to be sold in America.
Pauline Rowson: Murder, mystery and mayhem
