Comedy is back this Autumn with two of the most popular comedians on the circuit today - Milton Jones and Reginald D Hunter are sure to tickle those funny bones, whilst Crissy Rock returns with an all-star cast in the laugh out loud Seriously Dead this October. We continue our Drama Season with the gripping A Party To Murder starring a glittering cast from Coronation Street, Emmerdale and The Knock; and over Halloween, Frankenstein is set to give us a fright alongside The Circus of Horrors and the return of the Sing-a-long-a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening. Leading up to Christmas, The Dickens Theatre Company will be performing their acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol, which promises to be an uplifting night in The Gielgud Room. Wheelchair access to these boxes is via a wheelchair lift. Wheelchair spaces should be booked in advance, and notice given if assistance is required. There are two wheelchair accessible toilets on the ground floor level of the theatre. Allocated disabled parking spaces are situated at the rear of the building. We are pleased to announce that a new hearing loop has been installed in the Towngate. Neck loops with a hearing aid can be used by switching it to the ‘T’ position. MAMMY: PE Issi Dye is one of Australia’s leading cabaret stars, with over 40 years in showbiz. He has performed this amazing tribute for more than 15 years, with over 1,000 memorable performances. The Astor Big Band presents a host of Glenn Miller’s No. 1 hits, including In the Mood, Tuxedo Junction and At Last - plus the hits of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and the Andrew Sisters.
