We are incredibly excited about the Gayla. It is a night filled with fun activities:

gorgeous voice to sing her own heartfelt and honest songs via nods to soulful folk and classic rock

amazingly intricate close harmonies and witty theatrics. (See video below)

trip, gourmet meals in people's homes, dinners with dignitaries, yard work with every power tool
imaginable and lots more.

Pizza Klatch provides weekly lunchtime support groups in our local schools for Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, Transgender and Queer youth (LGBTQ) and allies to prevent teen suicide, reduce
bullying and keep youth in school. We started with 2 schools and 20 students and now serve
approximately 240 youth weekly at 9 high schools.
Student survey responses show that these support groups directly improve their well-being,
empowering the youth to stand up against injustice while strengthening a sense of community in
the schools, thus enhancing their desire to stay and graduate. A few quotes from students:
“Pizza Klatch brings me hope for the future.”
“Pizza Klatch is very accepting. They love you for who you are, and it’s a safe,
happy place to be.”
“I go to Pizza Klatch because it is one of the few places I don’t feel scared to say
exactly how I feel. I won’t be judged. And I know that no one will be scared of
me.”
Principals, parents, counselors and students have been eager to get Pizza Klatch in their schools,
so we are working to raise money in order to expand our services to include middle schools and
schools outside of Thurston County. We are funded by individual donors, as well as state and
private grants with some help from corporations and small businesses, and we are planning our
first large gala-style fundraiser in the fall
