FURTHER INFORMATION Financial security is guaranteed under the EEC 1992 Package Travel Regulations. Valid
passports are required for all overseas holidays. It is the individual`s responsibility to obtain visas where necessary.
We reserve the right to change the published information and itineraries without prior notice in the event of
adverse circumstances beyond our control. For continental crossings we use either P&O/Stena and SeaFrance
ferries or Eurotunnel. Customers who are unhappy with any aspect of their holiday must inform their tour leader
immediately if any problem arises to allow us to resolve it during the trip. If it is not resolved satisfactorily then
customers must write to head office within 7 days of their return date. Our tour leader must be fully aware of
their complaint. Optional tours are dependent on a sufficient number wishing to participate (usually ten).

Children’s Prices
Infants up to the age of 23 months will pay a minimum
of £70 to guarantee a seat on the coach for tours up to
4 days and £100 for tours 5 days or over. Children
between the ages of 2 and 11 will receive a 15%
discount off the adult tour price where a child price is
not stated on the brochure page. The child price is only
valid when staying in a room with two full paying adults.
Day trips will be charged at £30 for both infants and
children up to the age of 11. No limits apply.
Optional Excursions
Our optional excursion prices at time of going to press
are merely a guide and may change subject to
confirmation at time of departure.
Optional tours are dependent upon a sufficient
number wishing to participate.
Group Bookings
Holiday with your friends and you can take advantage
of our FREE PLACES. For every 20 Adult fare paying
passengers,the twenty-first passenger goes FREE. With
regard to departure points, you name the place and
we will do the rest. Alternatively, if there is a destination
that is not in our brochure but you would like to take a
group there,contact our experienced staff who will be
pleased to organise “tailor-made” itineraries to
destinations throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included for your driver and escort in
the price of your tour. However, it is customary and
traditional to show your appreciation of their good
service personally at the end of each tour.

We depart early morning to arrive
at our hotel late afternoon. This
evening, join us for our optional
excursion “A Taste of Paris.” We

Day Two
After breakfast, join us on our

Brugge is one of Europe’s best preserved medieval cities. It used to
be Belgium’s richest and busiest port, until the river silted up. Then
this beautiful city, full of architectural splendour was quite literally

Lille Braderie

Every first weekend in September, ever increasing numbers
of people come to enjoy this great annual rendezvous of
flea market fanaticism, bric a brac hunting, bargaining,
and amateur salesmanship. The Braderie: a 48 hour festival
of brocanteurs all around the city of Lille. The history of the
Braderie of Lille is not well known. It is supposed that the
tradition dates from the Middle Ages, when once a year
the servant classes of Lille were given permission to sell –
from dusk to dawn – old clothes and objects belonging to
their employers. Over the years the Braderie has changed,
becoming much larger and lasting longer. But the overall
free spirit of this September celebration remains.
Itinerary
We depart in the morning and
head south for our crossing to the
continent. We continue towards
Lille, where we should arrive in time
for a late lunch. Perhaps you

We leave early morning to catch

After breakfast, we leave our hotel
and make our way into the city
centre, to spend the day exploring
the Christmas Markets. Your coach
will then pick you up late afternoon,
to take you back to your hotel. You
have the opportunity to freshen up
before maybe hitting the town
again for some of that unique
evening atmosphere of the
markets.
Day Three
After breakfast we depart from our
hotel and retrace our steps back
through Germany, Belgium and
France to Calais. Time permitting
we will stop at a beer and wine
warehouse before our afternoon
crossing back to the UK. We arrive
home in the early evening loaded

Day One
We leave local pick up points early
crossing to the continent. We
continue through France and
Switzerland, where we will arrive at
our hotel in the evening in time for
a late dinner.
Day Two
After breakfast, it’s time for our
included excursion to Lucerne,
where a visit to the Lion Monument
is a must! This massive monument is
carved into the rock face and is
next to the Glacier Gardens. After a
wonderful day in Lucerne, we return
to the hotel for our evening meal.
Day Three - Christmas Eve
Today, following breakfast, you
can join us on a full day optional
tour, including a boat trip on Lake
Lucerne with commentary and a
journey by rack railway up Mount
Rigi (weather permitting). We then
return to the hotel, for your
evening meal and Christmas
festivities. You may choose to join
in a candlelit walk through the
village to the church for evening
mass with the local community.

Edinburgh's Hogmanay is recognised globally as one of
the world’s biggest New Year celebrations. Each year
thousands of people descend upon the old streets of
central Edinburgh for a massive party with a spectacular
mix of live music stages, giant screens and one of the
world’s greatest and most incredible fireworks displays.
With the famous Edinburgh castle as a backdrop, the
incredible Edinburgh's Hogmanay Fireworks music see 4.5
tonnes of pyrotechnics light up the Edinburgh sky to signal
the arrival of the New Year.
Itinerary
We depart mid morning from our
local pick up points and travel
northwards to Bonny Scotland for
the world famous Hogmanay
celebrations in Edinburgh (comfort
stops will be made en-route). We
arrive early afternoon, so there’s
time for a bit of shopping, some
food and maybe a drink or two in
one of the friendly pubs before the
length and breadth of Princes
Street and the Gardens come alive
as the street party gets in full swing!
As one of the world’s biggest
outdoor parties, you must have a
pre-purchased wristband to enter
Princes Street (available from
www.edinburghshogmanay.org).
As the clock strikes twelve and the
New Year arrives, arms link as the
street sings the Hogmanay custom
Song “Auld Lang Syne.” Enjoy the
torchlight procession and the
magical firework display with
Edinburgh castle as a backdrop!
What a way to see in the New
Year! In the early hours of the
morning we meet back on the
coach for our journey home,
arriving early/mid morning.

Day One
We depart from local pick up points
early morning and travel northwards
by executive coach to bonny
Scotland, with comfort stops en
route. Arriving at your quality hotel
in the late afternoon, there’s time to
freshen up and get ready for a
fantastic evening. You may wish to
join us on our optional Traditional
Scottish evening that includes your
meal, wine, pipers, singers, dancers
and much merriment! You can
even try the famous Haggis (subject
to availability).

The afternoon is free for you to
explore this fascinating
cosmopolitan city, famous for its
shops and hospitality. It’s New
Year’s Eve or “Hogmanay” when
Scottish hospitality comes to the
fore and the night comes to life.
With the Street Party Ticket you
have pre-purchased from
you can spend your night
anywhere in Rose Street, the
Grassmarket or the Royal Mile and
you can be assured of a warm
welcome. At midnight, the Scots
gather at the Trone Church on the
Royal Mile to hear the bells ringing
in the New Year. Others gather in
Princes Street to watch the
fireworks over the Castle.
Day Two (Four Day Tour Only)
After breakfast, spend the day in the
city of Edinburgh where the festivities
are in full swing (tickets required for

join our optional day tour to Stirling
Castle and the Trossachs. This
evening you may wish to enjoy the
pubs once again or perhaps you’d
like to try a ghost walk…
New Year’s Day
After a late breakfast, we load our
luggage aboard the coach and
return south. We arrive back at our
drop off points, early in the
evening with wonderful memories
of Hogmanay in Edinburgh.
