Clerk Sibal reported she received an email from an appraisal service in Scottsbluff requesting information about the specifications for the county-wide appraisal review. Discussion was held on the proposals received from Stanard Appraisal Services, Inc., to provide appraisal services for the appraisal review of residential, commercial and rural residential/agricultural improved properties. The cost for residential property is proposed at $53,775, rural residential/ agricultural improved property at $65,395 and commercial property at $62,325. Following the discussion, Nolting moved, Anderson-Faden seconded to acknowledge receipt of the three proposals from Stanard Appraisal Services, Inc., to provide appraisal services for a county-wide appraisal review and to authorize Matt Turman, legal counsel for the Board, and Assessor Sherry Winstrom to negotiate the terms of the contracts to be submitted at the August 2, 2016, meeting.
