KARATE: FAMILY & TEENS
Shotokan karate is the most popular type of traditional karate taught
in the world. Practicing karate gives people more self-confidence and
a better sense of awareness, but karate is also fun! Unlike other martial arts instructors, Takeshi hopes that his students will love karate

important parts of class—becoming more flexible makes it easier to
do those high kicks. He will use games to increase endurance, for
muscle training, for enhancing balance and coordination, and even to
teach some basic skills. Besides basic skills, kata (forms) will also be
taught.
