There are many ways to get Koriyama from Narita Airport - New Tokyo International
Airport. Two earlier and easier ways are as follows:
Route A : Narita Airport - Tokyo - Koriyama
From Narita Airport to Tokyo, take the JR Line “Narita Express” and change the JR
Line “Tohoku Superexpress (Sinkansen)” at Tokyo Station to Koriyama.
All the trains of “Narita Express” need to be reserved and “Tohoku Superexpress
(Sinkansen)” can be taken without reservations. You can buy tickets at the ticket counter
on the first floor of the arrival lobby of the airport. A one-way ticket fares are as
follows:
A one-way ticket from Narita Airport to Koriyama costs 5,250yen for adults.
A one-way express ticket from Narita Airport to Tokyo costs 1,460yen for adults.
A one-way express ticket from Tokyo to Koriyama costs 3,570yen for adults.
Route B : Narita Airport - Keisei-Ueno - Ueno- Koriyama
From Narita Airport to Keisei-Ueno, take the Keisei Line “Skyliner”. All the trains of
“Skyliner” need to be reserved. You can buy tickets at the ticket counter on the first
floor of the arrival lobby of the airport. A one-way ticket costs 1,920yen for adults.
From Keisei-Ueno Station to Ueno Station (JR Line), it takes about 5 minutes by walk.
From Ueno to Koriyama, take the JR Line “Tohoku Superexpress (Sinkansen)”.
“Tohoku Superexpress (Sinkansen)” can be taken without reservations. You can buy
tickets at the JR counter at Ueno station. A one-way ticket costs 7,260yen for adults.

You can buy Keisei Railway and JR Line tickets at the ticket counter on the first floor of
the arrival lobby. The platform of Keisei Railway and JR Line are located at the first
basement.

Tokyo Station Guide
“Narita Express” arrives the Track Numbers 1-4 for Sobu Line at the fifth basement.
Track Numbers 1-4 are also located at the fourth basement for Keiyo Line and the first
floor for Chuo, Keihin-tohoku and Yamanote Lines. Therefore, please make sure of your
train.
“Tohoku Superexpress (Shinkansen)” is at Track Numbers 20-23 at the first floor. You
have to pass “Superexpress (Shinkansen) Chuo Transfer Exit for Tohoku Superexpress
(Shinkansen)”. It takes about 15 minutes to change the train from “Narita Express” to
“Tohoku Superexpress (Shinkansen)”.

Keisei-Ueno Station and Ueno Station Guide
To change the train from Keisei Railway “Skyliner” to JR Line “Tohoku Superexpress
(Shinkansen)”, you must go from Keisei-Ueno Station to Ueno Station (JR Line).
From Keisei-Ueno Station to Ueno Station, it takes about 5 minutes by walk going
through the underpass (Dot line in Figure). Please see guidance at the site.
At Ueno Station, “Tohoku Superexpress (Shinkansen)” is at Track Numbers 19-22 at the
fourth basement.
