We welcome you to join us next year in the spring at the Nashua Marriott. Look for our frequently updated web site for dates and hotel information. Celebration organizers have spent the past year reviewing proposals for more of the out standing classes you have become accustomed to. Susan's Needle WrapUp Susan Greening Davis Still Stitching with Susan ¯8:00 am10:45 am ¯Exclusive Teaching Piece ¯Intermediate, Maximum 30 students Come join Susan Greening Davis for this spe cial class. She promises that you will love it! It is another selffinishing, useful and lovely project. It's needle wrapup in remembrance of the vintage ones. This gadget has become indispensable for Susan's travels. All of her needles and pins tuck in it and then she wraps up and ties it with some of her per fectly colored ribbon. There is an appropriate doodad to attach the binding ribbon. The calico binding edge is already attached to the linen so you just have to fold it over the needlework felt and stitch it down. The four lovely bands will contain a lovely verse, a mirror image motif, a motif reminiscent of French embroidery and darning work. You can practice your stitches on a larger count but Susan encourages you to start the actual project in class. overdyed floss, felt, chart, needle and instructions. The secret storage area can be removed allowing the stitcher to store treasured needles or to use this piece only for pin storage. We will shape and finish the base of the hive in class as well as discuss and create an example of the “Hive” fabric. All stitching is done using AVS silk on 32 count linen. This class focuses on stitching using a variety of stitches and finishing techniques.
