Located on the Roy J. Wasson Academic Campus, Early College
High School is designed for students to earn both a high school
diploma and an associate’s degree, or up to two years of college
credit toward a bachelor’s degree, at NO cost to students! From our
University Track with our “college for high school credit” courses,
to our exciting Career Pathways in Automotive, Cyber Security,
Education, and Hospitality, Early College High School students enjoy
a rigorous and relevant education!
Partnered with Pikes Peak Community College, University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs and Denver, Metro State University, and Adams State University, our
curriculum is designed as a coherent unit, with high school and college-level work
blended into a single academic program.
• “BRIDGE” STUDENTS
“Bridge” students are students who take half of the “Guarantee Transfer” credits
required for an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree at the Roy J.
Wasson Academic Campus.
• “SELECT” STUDENTS
“Select” students are students who take the remaining half of the “Guarantee
Transfer” credits required for an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree
at Pikes Peak Community College or the University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs.

CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION
Career Pathways provides career and technical training at the high school level.
All high school students throughout District 11 are eligible to take a Career
Pathways 90-minute block class, and District 11 even provides “school-to-school”
transportation at the start and end of every block offered.
Due to the exciting Career Pathways opportunities in Automotive, Cyber Security,
Education, Hospitality & Tourism, and Sustainable Agriculture and Green Education
(SAGE), students will enjoy a rigorous and relevant education on a semester-bysemester basis while they earn industry certifications!
Furthermore, our articulation agreements with Pikes Peak Community College
(PPCC), Front Range Community College (FRCC), Colorado State University, Pueblo
(CSU-P) the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), the University of
Colorado Denver (UCD), and Metro State University (MSU), allow Career Pathways
students to potentially transfer high school courses towards college credits!
Advanced Career Pathways students may even opt to take career and technical
math or English college classes that coincide with their Individual Career and
Academic Plan (ICAP)!

Achieve Online School gives students from sixth through twelfth grade a free online
curriculum, specifically designed to provide them with skills relevant to the 21st
century.
Achieve Online School provides:
• An engaging web and text based curriculum aligned to local, state, and national
standards;
• Enrichment opportunities consisting of art, health, music, physical education,
automotive, health science, culinary and hospitality, Spanish, and other
electives;
• Low student-to-teacher ratio;
• Personalized learning through the use of diagnostic assessments, learning style
inventories, and individualized feedback;
• Opportunities for students and families to interact socially through optional
school outings, field trips, and other social events;
• Student-parent-teacher communication via e-mail, online interactive grade book,
telephone, and video conferences.
THE DIGITAL HIGH SCHOOL - (719)328-3012
The Digital High School is an online credit recovery program for junior and senior
students, offering them a chance to get back on track and obtain their high school
diploma. The Digital School partners with District 11 high schools to increase the
graduation rate throughout the District.
Based on the one-room schoolhouse where students simultaneously study several
different subjects, Digital students use Gradpoint courseware to access a variety
of classes and programs that assist them in recovering the credits they may have
missed at their home high school, giving them the final boost they need to graduate
with a high school diploma.
SPRINGS COMMUNITY NIGHT SCHOOL - (719)328-2160
Springs Community Night School (SCNS) offers an innovative educational program
for students 17-21 years of age who want to earn their high school diploma. SCNS
operates late afternoon into the evening and allows students to earn their diploma,
as well as recover credits for graduation. Traditionally, students who enroll in SCNS
will graduate from the high school they last attended.

The Bijou School is a school of choice in Colorado Springs School District 11. Bijou
students must assume responsibility for regular attendance, time management, and

Tesla Educational Opportunity School is a fully accredited school of choice for
students that prefer attending a school in a non-traditional setting. We focus on
the whole child in our environment, culture, and academic programs. We offer
our students a positive and safe educational alternative so they may achieve high
academic and behavioral standards, while earning a high school diploma through
the combined support of school and community. The high school offers credit
recovery opportunities for students that have fallen behind and need the support to

Adult and Family Education provides quality educational experiences that equip all
students for success as parents, community members and workers. For students
age 17 and over, Adult & Family Education offers Adult Basic Education, Adult
Secondary Education (often known as GED Preparation), and English language
acquisition classes for non-native speakers of English. Adult education students
who live within District 11 boundaries have the option to participate in the Family
Literacy program where they bring their children, ages 6 weeks through 5th
grade, to school with them. While parents attend adult education classes, the
children receive age appropriate literacy
instruction.
Adult and Family Education offers:
