Role: To bring eleven sections from 65% CD to bid documents. This required me
to create new section cuts through the BIM model and independently seek out the
information necessary for cleaning and filling in the critical information missing from
the model.

REVIT
Description: Due to the design’s gritty contemporary feel and complex mix of
interior and exterior spaces, I chose to create a BIM model of the “House for an Art
Collector”, designed by David Adjaye and located in New York, New York.
Program: REVIT
Role: To model from print.
Left column: Quick conceptual exterior and interior renderings of the project.
Below: Final plans, sections and elevations of the house.

Rendering
Left column: The top 3 are renderings modeled in Rhino of the
Kunthaus Graz by Peter Cook in Syria, Austria. The last image
on the left is a rendering modeled in 3DS Max of the Barcelona
Pavilion [1929] by Mies Van Der Rohe in Barcelona, Spain.
Programs: Rhino, Maxwell, 3DS Max and Photoshop
Right column: The images below are expressive illustrations
and renderings from my advanced urban design studio project;
the design of a mega-structure to hold a city of 10,000. The
urban design scope was both of the interior of each megastructure as well as the organization of these city-sized designs
as the city would grow.

Description: One of the few commercial renovation projects I
was responsible for drafting at Concise Design Group. The local
offices of Vasoline were demolishing the center of the office
floor plan to create a significantly more open workspace and
modernized cafeteria. Below are the project plans and interior
elevation of the cafeteria.

Description: A house addition and renovation
project that I was responsible for drafting and
revising. The client for this project wanted a yearround sunroom to be extended off the rear of
the house, to open the floor plan of the first floor
and for the roof over the garage to be raised to
include a master suite. Below are the plans and
elevations.

Hayley House
Description: Hayley House is a non-profit located in South Boston that offers free
to low-priced meals. It has two locations and each has become a center of the
community through social events. Our project focused on their bakery location which
required an outdoor eating area for visitors during the summer months. It would also
serve as a platform to hold various events in the evening.
Programs: AutoCAD, SketchUP
Role: I was involved throughout all stages of the project, from the surveying of the lot
to the drafting of the plans to construction. The wooden structure was constrained
to the size of two parking lots and included the addition of plant beds and wooden
screens to separate the eating area from the rest of the parking lot.
Right: An early conceptual rendering of the project for design review. Below:
Design development sketches followed by the final plans.
