He holds the Providence Service Corporation Chair in Public Management. He was Director of the National Institute for Civil Discourse, which is co-chaired by President George Herbert Walker Bush and President Bill Clinton. He has been elected president of two national associations in his field. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and in 2010 won the NASPAA/ASPA Distinguished Research Award. Milward’s research interests revolve around networks and collaboration. For over thirty years he has focused his work on understanding how to efficiently and effectively manage networks of organizations that jointly produce public services like health and human services. Milward received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University. Marion Lunn, Deputy Director for the Energy and Recycling Office, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Marion “Molly” Lunn is the Deputy Director for Energy & Recycling, at the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity. In this capacity, she oversees statewide programs and planning initiatives that save energy, generate clean and reliable electricity, promote sustainable transportation, and reduce waste – all while driving economic development and job creation. Before joining the state, Ms. Lunn was with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, and has also previously served at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She received an MPA from Columbia University and a BA from Emory University, and was a Presidential Management Fellow. PRINTED ON 100% PCW PAPER
