Message from the Manager
Twin Creeks would like to extend a warm welcome to
our newest Golf, Social and Community Members
After only five months of having the
privilege to be your General Manager, I’m
pleased to share a number of new capital
improvement projects in the works at the
club this spring! Some changes that you
will see right away are new TV’s for the
Fitness Center, a new ice machine for the
Turn House, and a new awning for the
Swimming Pool, all while we finalize the
details of a major Clubhouse renovation!
New carpet throughout the Clubhouse
and restoration of our concrete floors will provide the finishing touches
on an update which will feature an expansion of the Grand Oaks
banquet room. This expansion will not only minimize the number of
times the Clubhouse closes for large events, but will also allow us to
keep the Fireplace Room available for family dining, and the bar area for
adults only in the evenings. Our Club has grown significantly over the
last two years, and dedicated spaces for our Members is a necessary
change to accommodate this growth.

In addition to the exciting changes listed above, you may have noticed a
number of new events and activities on the calendar for 2016. Participation for our new monthly traditions like Girls Night Out and Steaks
and Stogies has been great! We have many more new activities planned
for the spring while we enjoy some of the best weather on record for our
area. Be sure to mark your calendars for March 18th for the first Happy
Hour at the Range, which will include live music and a number of other
fun, family friendly activities down at the practice facility. Last but not
least, keep your eyes peeled for a multitude of new Golf instructional
programs geared towards giving you added opportunities to play Golf,
while also providing an unprecedented level of value for your Golf
Membership. We’re extremely excited to be a part of this Dominion
Golf Group initiative, which will be a significant upgrade to the
experience at all of our properties.
Your support of these new activities and initiatives has been critical to
our success so far this year, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of
2016 will bring for Twin Creeks!

LGA Beginners & Birdies (9-holes)
Format - 2-Man Teams in which players will sign up as teams
Each player will tee off at each hole. The best drive will be chosen, and players
will play their own ball from there. The lowest Net score on each hole will be
used as the team score. Players will receive 50% handicap.
**Teams with greater than 8 strokes between players will result in a reduction
of the B players handicap to within 8 strokes of the A player.**
Format – 4-Lady computer paired A/D or B/C teams.
Each player will tee off at each hole. Teams will select the best drive and play
their second shot from that location. Play will continue in this “select shot”
fashion until the ball is holed out. Teams will receive 25% of the average of all
player’s handicaps for 9-holes.

Our 8U FUNdamental program is designed to develop the basic athletic skills
necessary to play the sport of tennis! This class is intended for players 6-8 years
old and will be taught on the 36 foot court with the red low-compression balls
to maximize success. The main goal of these classes is to have each child learn
to server, rally, score with their peers and to set them up for a successful start to
this lifetime sport.

Swim Lessons
Private and semi-private lessons are currently available to swimmers of all ages.
You can register for single lessons or a package of four. To schedule 21054 your
30-minute swimming lessons, simply go to the swim lesson page of the Twin
Creeks Country Club website. (Activity Center/Aquatics/Swim Center)
Cost:
Private and Semi- Private - $35 per lesson or a package of four (4) for $125
For the 4-pack, you must schedule your lessons within a two week time period.
Key Dates:
Sunday, June 12th 2016 – MOXIE Youth Triathlon (Swim/Bike/Run)
Both events will be hosted at the TCCC and registration is open for both
events.
