Tsudakoma also has the top-selling exclusive terryweaving loom. The ZAX- Terry

technology proven on the ZA207Ti and the ZAXTerry. It improves on the basic requirements of
productivity, quality, energy conservation and quick
response to produce a high-quality terry towel with

■ Frame structure for ultra-high speed
Higher running speed is obtained by
adopting the terry motion with cloth fell
shifting system.
The robust frame structure, mainly
composed of a strong box frame on both
sides and beams, has less vibration and
higher durability at high speed. The
intermediate rocking supporters are
standard equipment.
They ensure smooth and powerful
beating even at high speed, promising
excellent quality for terry towel.

With the aid of TMCS (Tsudakoma
Memory Card System), important
weaving conditions such as filling
insertion, let-off and take-up can be
changed with ease simply by substituting
memory cards.

■ PSC Programmable Speed Control
Up to eight kinds of loom RPM can be
independently set for a border and a pile
weaving section respectively. Formerly,
the loom RPM was restricted by a border
weaving section. The PSC automatically
increases the loom RPM for other than
the border weaving section in order to
improve productivity. It changes the
RPM within 1 pick. Moreover, versatility
is also widened by weaving special
borders.

The air passage from the electromagnetic valves to
the sub-nozzle is minimized by positioning electromagnetic valves with built-in manifolds directly on
the front top stay, which is integrated with the air
tank. The response at high-speed is elevated, while
air consumption is reduced.

The WBS sharply reduces peak
tension that occurs at the end of filling
insertion in order to prevent filling
breakage and selvage looseness. The
WBS precisely controls brake timing
and brake stroke according to the
yarn release timing detected by the
FDP sensor.

intelligent Technology - Board
iT
T--Board is mounted on the ZAX- Terry air jet loom. Because
Tsudakoma has nearly 100 years of loom technology experience,
the iT-Board is designed for ease of use. The iT-Board is a touchtype operation board with conspicuous color-coded graphics.
Automatic data setting, automatic diagnosis and controlling functions
are greatly expanded and improved and necessary information can
be viewed with the fewest keystrokes, allowing quick action.

Easy-to-see graphic display. All the
operations are possible on the display. The
desired page is displayed quickly.
Reports are displayed with a graph by
reasons for loom stoppage. Therefore, the
cause that was previously hard to analyze
can be easily identified.

corrected on the iT-Board. Colors and

The filling insertion curve is displayed on
the iT-Board. The jetting timing of the
sub-nozzles can be easily changed. The
best setting is possible without observing
the filling with a stroboscope.

Setting a plain section and a doffing length
is flexible. Leasing button is also provided
on the page.

Technology for better pile quality
■ TMC Terry Motion Control
The computer control of the pile tension is possible with this system. It minimizes
warp breakage, resulting in piles with a good feeling even at high-speed
operation. The pile tension for pile, plain and border weaving sections, and at
loom stoppage are independently adjusted to contribute to the improvement of
fabric quality and productivity.
