There is one bartender up to 120 people. An additional bartender would be in place for groups over 120 people and each additional 120 people. Prices are 50 cents less per drink than Cash Bar Prices. A 15% gratuity will be added to bar service totals. *Convener may also choose to pay a portion of $1.00 to $3.00 per beverage lowering the price of beverages as such to the guests. Standard Bar Prices would apply in such occurrences. A 15% gratuity will be added to the convener portion of beverage costs.* Corkage Bar (Convener provides the liquor) Ice, glasses, mix, & bartender (s) included in the price $6 per person Convener provides liquor as well as permit from liquor store liquor was purchased from for resale or non sale. Convener provides a float if needed as well as sets price for beverages. If it is to be a No Cost Bar, a gratuity of 12% per drink based at $4.75 per drink will apply. If it is to be a Ticket Bar, a gratuity of $0.50 per ticket turned in at the bar will apply. The service of alcohol beverages is subject to the inclusion of food. The Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino must provide all liquor and wine served in public function rooms, licensed by AGLC. Alberta liquor laws do not permit alcohol beverage service before 10:30am (12:00pm on Sunday & Holidays) or after 2:00am. All persons must be 18 years of age or older to consume alcohol beverages. Non Alcoholic Non Alcoholic Punch Station is a great option to provide to your guests, especially when there are children at an event. Banquet Wine Selection Double Decker Pino Grigio - USA Winemaker’s Notes: “Aromas and flavours of green apple and lime complemented by a hint of mineral to create an adventurously crisp and refreshing white wine.” $24 per bottle Double Decker Red Blend - USA Winemaker’s Notes: “An exciting blend of cabernet sauvignon, petite sirah, and barbera with flavours of blackberry, black cherry, and plum to create a robust yet smooth red wine .” $24 per bottle Hayes Ranch Chardonnay - USA Winemaker’s Notes: “The wine is fruit driven , with fresh aromas of pineapple, grapefruit,, and citrus. Naturally balanced acidity gives this chardonnay a refreshing mouth-feel and leaves a lingering flavour of the fruit promised in the bouquet. The barrel aging brings hints of oak and vanilla as well as honey along with a smooth, lightly toasted oak finish.” $27 per bottle Hayes Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon - USA Winemaker’s Notes: “Flavours of red cherry and anise, with a hint of vanilla. This wine is well balanced, with medium tannin, a smooth mid palate and a spicy, coffee finish. It is a perfect wine to be enjoyed by the glass and with grilled dishes, roast beef, and hearty pastas.” $27 per bottle We have all the Extras to make your event perfect…. Event Linen - All events include chocolate, black or white napkins, and ivory, black or white tablecloths. Should you wish a different color napkin or tablecloth we do offer at a rental of $1.00 per napkin and $7.oo per tablecloth. Some enjoy mix and matching the napkins and tablecloths. Please speak with our Catering Department to view sample colors. Napkins order is a minimum of 50. White or Black Chair covers are available at a cost of $4.00 per cover. This cost includes our banquet staff putting on the chair covers. Tables & Table Skirting - Up to 10 - six or eight foot rectangle tables clothed & skirted are included in our room rental rate. Additional tablecloths & skirting for events would be an additional $10.00 per table. Round table linens are included with the purchase of a buffet or plated meal Have your guests take the elevator home... Group Rates for bookings of 10 or more rooms are available year round. You can block up to 30 guest rooms as you require for one or more nights. We would provide you with reservation cards to give to your guests so they have information regarding the dates, rate, and room types, and please book by date. Guests will have one month prior to arrival date to reserve one of the blocked rooms. After that date the block will be released however rooms may still be available in our inventory to accommodate late bookings. To arrange a block please speak with our Catering Department. Complimentary Honeymoon Jacuzzi Suite for the new Mr. & Mrs. A complimentary one night stay in one of our luxurious Jacuzzi suite is available to the new couple on the night of your wedding with a purchase of a buffet or plated meal for 100 or more guests. Any additional nights would be sold at a discounted rate. Please ask our Catering Department for more details. General Information Thank you for choosing the Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino to host your upcoming event. We in the Catering Department are eager to assist with every detail to ensure complete success. We ask that you review the following standard guidelines and policies: Food and Beverage The Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino shall be the sole provider of food and beverage items. Any special items (e.g. food samples or wedding cake) must be approved by the Catering Department in advance. The customer is to identify and hold harmless the Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino, their employees and agents against any damages and all suits caused by own, or by independent contractors on their behalf, including supplied materials and food or beverages for use or consumption by guests. Health regulations prohibit the removal of any food products from the hotel (unless purchased as a menu take out item). Buffet products will be displayed for a maximum of 1.5 hours at any function to ensure the quality and integrity of the product. The service of alcohol is subject to the inclusion of food. A 15% gratuity is applied to all food and beverage services except cash bar. Prices shown do not include gratuity. The 5% GST is applicable on all charges. Deposits, Credit, & Guarantees A deposit of $500.00 is required to confirm the event reservation for either Regal 1 or 2. A $1000.00 deposit is required to confirm the event reservation of both Regal 1 & 2 combined. Subject to type of function. To allow adequate preparation time, the Catering Department requires notification of the guaranteed number of guests, confirmed to attend, 96 hours prior to the event. If the final guaranteed number is not submitted, billing will be based on the number of guests originally quoted on the banquet contract. In case of a discrepancy between the guaranteed number and actual number in attendance, you will be invoiced for the greater number. The hotel will prepare up to 10% over the guaranteed to a maximum of 15 additional guests. All contracts and credit card authorizations must be returned signed 72 hours in advance of a function or your function may be cancelled. Deposits for functions not including weddings are refundable with 30 days advance notice of cancellation. Deposits for weddings are refundable with 180 days advance notice of cancellation. Payment Procedure For Weddings & Banquets payment is required 48 hours in advance of function date unless a direct bill account has been established. Payment will be based on final numbers provided to the Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino. The Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino will accept certified cheques. Power Extension cords and power bars will be provided upon request. Storage The Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino can not accept any liability for articles left in the function rooms or for items shipped in advance and stored until arrival of convener. Smoking Camrose Bylaw does not allow smoking in public buildings. Therefore the Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino enforces a non smoking environment in our entire facility. There are designated smoking areas located around the exterior of the facility. SOCAN Fee A performing rights license is required when renting a facility for a private function such as a wedding reception, dinner, fashion show, etc. if music will be played or performed. The license fee is submitted to the Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada and then distributed to the copyright owners in form of royalty. For events with dancing the fee is $50.00 plus GST and $30.00 plus GST with no dancing. Decorations Prior to hanging any decorations approval regarding what is being used to hang must be sought from the Catering Department. Any candles used must be in a container with a minimum of 2 inches from the top of the candle to the top of the enclosure. This is due to Fire & Safety regulations.
