Senior pitcher Jay Kiel of the Tigers delivers a pitch during the April
6 home game against Abe Lincoln when the Tigers won 14-3. Sterling
was scheduled to play at Brush Tuesday in a Patriot League game but
that contest was snowed out and has been re-scheduled for Friday at 4
p.m. The Tigers are still waiting to see if they can play their home game
Thursday against Valley. On Saturday the Tigers dropped a 7-6 league
decision to Platte Valley at Kersey. Sterling is 7-2 overall and 1-1 in the
Patriot League. (SPS Photo By Ken McDowell.)
