I get really excited when I see a piece of furniture that I can take to another place’ BEFORE AFTER Equipment List Table and 4 cork top stools (Tamara used Ikea’s Docksta table and Sinnerlig cork stools) ,Scissors, White Knight Squirts Undercoat, Sheet of circular glass, Stencil, Orbital sander (optional), Extra fine grit sand paper, Repositionable Spray Adhesive, White Knight Squirts in Satin Black, Painters tape in two widths, String, White Knight Splashes in Satin Black, Drop sheet/newspaper, Stencil brush White Knight Crystal Clear Acrylic (optional) Preparation 1. Clean the surfaces of your table and chairs to ensure they are free from dirt and any other contaminants. 2. Lightly sand the table top. 3. Cover all surrounding areas to protect from overspray. 3. Apply White Knight Squirts Undercoat to the entire table top, using a smooth sweeping motion, overlapping each spray pass.Allow to dry. 4. Apply White Knight Squirts aerosol paint in Satin Black to the entire table top, again using a smooth sweeping motion, overlapping each spray pass and holding the can approx. 25cm from the surface. Allow to dry. 5. Once the paint is completely dry, carefully peel the painter’s tape off to reveal your design 6. For added protection, place a sheet of glass measuring the same diameter as the table top over the finished design. Table 1. 2. To mark out your design, use string to achieve straight, even lines. Apply painter’s tape to create the pattern, remembering that the areas you block out will remain unpainted. from the makers of VISUAL CONTRAST PROJECT SHEET Stools 1. Block out any areas of the stencil with tape that you don’t want to include in the finished design. Tamara’s Top Tips 2. Turn the stencil over and lightly coat the back with repositionable spray adhesive. 3. Position the stencil on the top of the stool right side up and press to adhere. 4. Dip a stencil brush into White Knight Splashes paint in Satin Black and rub the tip on a rag in a circular motion to remove excess paint. 5. Gently rub the brush over the cut out areas of the stencil in a circular motion to fill in the cut our areas. Allow to dry. 6. Once completely dry, carefully peel the stencil off the stool to reveal the design. 7. Apply a coat of White Knight Crystal Clear Acrylic to add protection. 8. Repeat on each stool.
