The recently adopted local Development Plan envisages up to 7,000 new homes over the next 15 years with over 2,500 of these earmarked for the Bryanstown area – adjacent to the hotel. There are some renowned tourist attractions in the area – easily reached from the hotel, the most notable of which are Newgrange, Knowth and the Battle of the Boyne site. The region boasts numerous blue flag beaches and some of Ireland’s best championship links golf courses such as Baltray, Seapoint, Laytown and Bettystown. While Drogheda is growing rapidly as a commuter town for Dublin, there are a growing number of large local employers in the area including Boyne Valley Foods, Irish Cement, IFF and Becton Dickenson.
