The Venues
The Winter Gardens provides the perfect setting for an event of this stature.
In the late nineteenth century the prospering seaside town of Blackpool set
about the building of a huge, grand and visionary complex across four and a
half acres of its most valuable estate. Unique to Blackpool and recently
restored to its historic grandeur and pristine glory the Winter Gardens is one
of the most amazing buildings in the world. It’s a spectacular meeting place

Yet again the presenters showcased this year are among the best in the world
and have travelled from as far a field as Slovenia, Japan, Russia, USA and
beyond. They have been hand picked to provide you with the most amazing
mix of styles, formats and personalities.
The International Fitness Showcase is organised and run by Chrysalis
Promotions Limited. The men behind this organisation are three active fitness
presenters in their own right: Lincoln Bryden, Ceri Hannan and Steve Watson.
Between them they have over 60 years experience in the Health & Fitness
industry (Yes they really are that old!!!).
Home - grown talent is also comprehensively represented with top UK
presenters plus companies such as Power Music, Livestrong, Urban Funk,
Chrysalis Promotions, Premier Training International, Drummond Education,
Modern, Pilates, Star Trac, Stott Pilates, and Gravity.
Under the Chrysalis umbrella they have pulled together their skills and talents
to organise one of the most exciting and pro - active Health and Fitness
events in the Fitness calendar: The International Fitness Showcase!
To support and nurture new talent in the industry we also have a stream of
new presenters who will be showcasing their talents throughout the weekend.

With over 237 sessions to choose from there is something to suit everyone’s
needs. We suggest you study the programme on the centre pages very carefully
(which is colour coded to help plan your weekend) and choose 3 sessions for
each hour that you wish to take part. Then carefully read and complete the
enclosed Session Selection Sheet and return it to us as soon as possible.
Remember, the sooner you return and we receive your completed form, the
more likely you are to get your first choices!
Trade Show
Situated in The Horseshoe area of the Winter Gardens will be the Trade Show
so get your credit cards out and your shopping shoes on. A multitude of
companies will be exhibiting to provide you with retail therapy on clothing,
music, education, workshops and tours, equipment, training courses, DVDs
and books, mind body formats, alternative health, rehabilitation options and
much more.

Nicki Boughy
Sava Assenov is an international aerobic,
dance and step presenter with a difference. He
has been the European acrobatic champion,
Bulgarian acrobatic champion as well as the
Bulgarian aerobic champion. This man is
definitely a presenter with a difference!
Nicky has a martial arts background in
karate and kick boxing, she has been in the
fitness industry for 10 years teaching a variety
of classes. With her take away choreography,
that’s full of fun, excitement and a great

currently a lecturer for London Leisure College.
He is known for his stylish fun packed sessions.
As well as presenting at all of the major UK
conventions, he has presented internationally
for 10 years, working in over 30 countries. Linx
has written a dance fitness aerobic program
and the Streetdance for kids course for the
YMCAfit. He is sponsored by Power Music and
now has 20 choreography videos ranging from

Kris is one of the few dance presenters that
walks the walk as well as talks the talk. His love
for Street Dance and the dance culture, Hip Hop
has made him study all hip hop dance styles
and continually strive to perfect his art. He is
a well known popper and locker in the
underground International Hip Hop Dance
scene and he is in constant demand worldwide
for his innovative dance presentations. If dance

Lisa Dzierak
Lydia Campbell is one of the industry’s
longest standing international presenters. A
pioneer and promoter of the industry
with FitCamp.
Lisa was trained at The Urdang Academy of
Ballet and performing Arts in London and
worked as a professional Dancer for many years
in the UK and overseas. She is now working as
a full time Lecturer at South Nottingham
College where she delivers a variety of Fitness
Courses and is also the Director and
Choreographer of the College’s Dance
Performance Programme.
Renowned for taking fitness to the masses in
the early 90s with her consumer videos and
books. From events, club management,
personal training, education to sports therapy,
she has a wealth of knowledge, passion and
energy that she shares in her sessions for all to
benefit. Currently developing her Fusion Pilates
training abroad and in the UK.
She trained as a dancer in Pilates in the 70s and helped establish Pilates
Fitness in the UK since the 90s.

Ceri is co-director of Chrysalis Promotions.
He has enjoyed 21 successful years in the
Health and Fitness industry, during which time
his career has taken him across the world in
various capacities.
A Power Music presenter and former UK Aerobic
champion he represented his country at
European and World level. As well as delivering
unique master classes and workshops at home
and abroad he has gained extensive experience
in Health Club management where he spent
several years as the National Fitness Manager for
one of the largest health club operators in the world. His classes are renowned
for putting the “E” in Entertainment!!!

Moris Cardone
Moris is of Italian descent but was born in
Germany. He is an International Presenter
working in Germany, Turkey, Sweden, Spain,
Poland, France… and member of the Presenter
team of IAW (International Aerobics Weeks). He
specializes in teaching Dance classes such as Hip
Hop, Latin and Ragga, Street-/ Funky-/and
Modern-Jazz. His classes and workshops are full
of energy, creativity and inspiration. His passion
for Dance is evident in the abundant energy he
exudes in his powerful Dance movements.
Bianca Karel
Every session is a party! Bianca’s relaxed
and spontaneous way of teaching make it easy
to learn from her creativity and technical skills.

Gemma Osman
Gemma is a bubbly new presenter having
made her presenting debut at the FitPro Spring
Convention 2009. Gemma has worked in the
fitness industry since 2005 when her passion
to teach dance led her to take her fitness
qualifications and since then, has been
involved in a number of fitness organisations
across London. Gemma currently works full time
for Fitness Professionals and part time as an
assistant tutor for Drummond Education.
Steve Schiemer
Igor Castiglia
Australian born and bred Steve has over 15
years teaching experience, almost 10 of those
as a Presenter. He has established himself as
one of the premiere male presenters on the
world wide circuit. He has built a reputation
based on impeccable teaching skills and

Aerobics, Martial Arts, or Stretch. Combined
with his magnetic personality, it is easy to see

Michael Steel
Nicky ‘fell’ into fitness in 2002 after 6
years as a professional dancer and
choreographer. Her fitness career began with a
large corporate health and fitness chain where
her roles included, group fitness club and
regional manager.
Michael currently works as an International
GRAVITY Faculty Member for efi Sports Medicine
in San Diego and has worked in the UK fitness
industry for over 15 years presenting master
classes and workshops internationally. As a
former Master Trainer for Physical Company, Les
Mills International and Fitpro, Michael has been
at the forefront of both freestyle and pre choreographed programming and has been
influential in the training and development of
the UK fitness industry.
Her passion for dance and fitness has created

Carroll Crook
Carroll has been in the fitness industry for 18 years and teaches a wide

both group classes and 1:1s from beginners through to advanced levels in
mat work and on equipment. She is known for her elegant performance and
dynamic presentations.
Sheila Done
Sheila began studying Modern Pilates with the intention of
prehabilitation for swimming athletes, however her abilities at teaching
Pilates lead to her becoming a sought after instructor, senior course director
and presenter at major conventions throughout the UK. Sheila is known for
her research skills and has developed a prestigious reputation for being an
authority in Pilates and the Older Adult and Neuro Pilates. Sheila is one of
the only experts in the UK to deal with exercise rehabilitation and after care
of clients after breast cancer. Any one who has had the pleasure of doing a
course with Sheila will have been blown away by her knowledge and expertise.

has published 2 books and is actively involved with courses in the UK and
Scandanavia. Sandie is a senior course director and assessor for Modern Pilates
– she is known for her elegance, flow and delivery.

Important Session Selection Notes
Read through the complete programme very carefully and make a note
of your initial selections.

Compare your choices with the relevant days schedule to ensure you are
not double booking in the same hour.

Having finalised your choices write the reference number on your
“Session Selection Sheet”, make a copy for your records and then return
it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so your selections can be processed.

Each room has a stipulated capacity so we ask you to make your first,
second and third choices in order of preference in case the session you
choose has already been filled.

competitor in triathlon Olympic distance,

after living in Switzerland most of his life,

training regimes of elite athletes and club

mountain and road bike designer with a global distribution network with

Covent Garden utilizing Metabolic Testing and
natural movement training. Former UK EFBB Fitness Champion and IFBB ProFitness Athlete following a strong sports background, she is now working
towards further development of The SPINNING® Program, Peak Pilates MVe
Fitness, and is on the strength advisory board with Star Trac Fitness.

Dr Ian Rollo attended Birmingham
University, where he completed an
undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise
Sciences in 2003. While at Birmingham, Dr
Rollo trained at the Hardy Spicer Judo club,
gained his black belt and competed in
international competitions. In 2005 Dr Rollo
moved to Loughborough University to study for
an MSc in Exercise Physiology, where he also
worked as an applied sports scientist for
Loughborough sports science support. This
opportunity allowed him to work with a variety
of sports and organisations including UK athletics, the Women’s FA and
England Rugby. After finishing his MSc, Dr Rollo’s personal interest in football
led to him studying high intensity exercise and football at the August Krogh
Institute in Denmark. Dr Rollo returned to Loughborough in 2006, and has
devoted the last three years to researching the effect of carbohydrate sports
drinks on running performance at Loughborough University, to gain a PhD
under the supervision of Professor Clyde Williams.

to earth. Overcoming gravity through graceful movement is a skill! This course
uses the MVe Chair as a biofeedback tool to help you practise these
movements and transfer the concepts to your students.

Her experience outside of Pilates, includes a
degree in Applied Nutrition, personal training,
yoga, therapeutic and sports massage as well
as injury rehabilitation. Judy also specialises
in postural analysis and corrective exercise.
Judy trained as a dancer and has been
involved, both in teaching and competing in
movement for many years. She still enjoys
competitive ballroom dancing and more recently golf.
Judy and her STOTT PILATES Instructor Team will be delivering the following
