Upper and lower bearing halves in a bearing should be from the same manufacturer. At manufacture, sized bearing halves are used. They are colour coded, red-yellow-blue. They are according to one of the following alternatives: Type 1 Both bearing halves marked yellow. Type 2 One bearing half marked blue and one red.
