begins to illustrate the great array of voices,
instruments, and musical colors that make up
The Basilica’s annual Missa Choralis Series.

The Basilica formed the Missa Choralis Series as a
welcoming response to inquiries from local choirs,
touring choirs, and instrumental ensembles.
The series seeks to build collaborative artistic
bridges while providing an artistic stewardship
opportunity by engaging the musical gifts of our
region in The Basilica’s celebrated sacred setting.
The Missa Choralis Series increasingly reveals the
vital artistic life of the upper Midwest, featuring
vocal and instrumental musicians from various
states, cities, academic institutions, churches, and
musical organizations. Each ensemble leaves a
unique musical impression while the sum of choral
and instrumental musical offerings comprises a
diverse repertoire linking cultures and times.
Please join us this season each Saturday in vibrant
liturgy and sacred song to experience the creative
riches these musical guests will offer at our table!
