Richmond Plywood Corporation Limited (Richply®) produces an economical option for General Purpose
MDO panels. General Purpose MDO 1-Step is Exterior grade plywood that can be machined, painted, and is
structurally stable. These panels share many of the same attributes as our Armorbond® 2-Step. Richply®
plywood products are manufactured in Canada.
General Purpose MDO 1-Step is manufactured with a face veneer of Douglas fir, a “C” grade 2-piece composed
core and a ”C” grade back veneer. The panels have a phenolic (non-urea) resin impregnated overlay , bonded to
the wood by heat and pressure. The resin content is 28%.

Care and Handling
• Store indoors in clean, dry, well-ventilated conditions.
• Do not store panels directly in contact with the ground.
• Stack no more than four or five units on top of one another and separate units with dry, clean spacers that are
uniformly thick and properly aligned. A minimum of three spacers must be used for 8-foot panels.
• Do not store panels in extreme temperatures or moisture conditions. Allow panels to acclimatize for at least
72-hours prior to installation.
