WHOLE OF NAMIBIA: 15 DAYS
CAPRIVI REGION NOT INCLUDED IN THIS TOUR.
DAY 1:
Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take
you to Jordani Bed and Breakfast in Windhoek to get
some rest after your long flight and recuperate for the
trip awaiting you. Your tour guide will take you for a nice
traditional dinner at Joe’s Beer house, one of our top
restaurants in Windhoek.

DAY 2:
After breakfast you will head out south east via Dordabis,
Stampriet and Gochas travelling through the Kalahari
Desert with it red sand dunes and dominating landscape.
You will overnight at Auob lodge.
Accommodation: Auob Lodge
Activities: Nature drive
DAY 3:
After breakfast, the day starts with a drive along the
“Auob River”, via Koes to the Kokerboom Forest
(Quivertree Forest) near Keetmanshoop. After spending
some time in the Quivertree forest you will proceed past
the Naute Dam to the Canyon Lodge which is situated
near the famous Fish River Canyon. The lodge is built
amongst enormous boulders, designed to blend in with
the natural environment.

DAY 4:
After breakfast you will continue to the Fish River
Canyon via Aus. The Fish River Canyon is an area that has
a semi desert climate. It is a gigantic ravine, some places
almost 550m deep and it is the 3rd most popular
attraction in Namibia. Through the canyon the drive
goes via Seeheim and Aus, passing through beautiful
landscapes of bizarre rock formations and endless desert
plains. You will end up at the Desert Horse In at Klein
Aus Vista where you will overnight.

Activities: Fish River Canyon
DAY 5:
Today will be a day to visit Luderitz. This is a small
harbour town that is perched on rugged black rock. Look
out for the Namib Feral Horses that were once tame, but
now wild on your way to Luderitz. Visit the Ghost Town
of Kolmanskop where diamond were first discovered in
Namibia. Have lunch in Luderitz . After a day of
sightseeing in the town, you will return to the Desert
Horse In at Klein Aus Vista and overnight.

DAY 6:
After breakfast you will head north passing the Tiras and
Nubib Mountain ranges through the Neisip plain. You will
overnigh at Namib Desert Lodge edging close to the red
sand dunes at Sossusvlei.

Activities: Sundowner drive
DAY 7:
You will depart early on an excursion to the Sesriem
Canyon and Sossusvlei, a large clay pan in the centre of
the Namib Desert. This is one of the major hightlights in
Namibia. You will relax with a choice of two swimming
pools at the lodge and overnight again at Namib Desert
Lodge.

Activities: Excursion to Sesriem and Sossusvlei
DAY 8:
Today we will be leaving the desert and drive back to
Windhoek via Rehoboth. Have lunch along the way and
be in Windhoek in time to do some shopping. You will
overnight at the Safari Court Hotel in Windhoek.

DAY 9:
After breakfast you will leave for the coast. Travel from
Windhoek across the rolling hills of Khomashochland
down the Gamsberg Pass into the Namib Desert, the
oldest desert in the world. You will have lunch along the
way and continue throught the Namib-Naukluft park
where you will see ostritch, springbuck, oryx and
mountain zebra. Your tour guide will show and tell you
about the Welwitchia plant, a living fossil, only found in
the Namib Desert. You will travel through the Moon
Valley, a fascinating place of rock formations that is
millions of years old. Arrive in Swakopmund before
sunset. You will overnight at the Beach lodge.

Naukluft Park, Welwitchia plant, Moon Valley
DAY 10:
After breakfast depart to Walvis Bay for a boat cruise.
There will be champagne, fresh oysters and snacks on
board. Return to Swakopmund in the afternoon and do a
city tour and any other activites you want (optional).
Have dinner at Cookies Pub, the best seafood you ever
tasted. Overnight at the Beach Lodge again.

Activities: Boat Cruise
DAY 11:
After breakfast you will head toward Usakos. You will
pass the Spitzkoppe Mountains on your way to the
Erongo Mountain area. Arrive in time at the Ai-Aiba
lodge also called the Rock Painting Lodge for a late
afternoon sundowner drive. This lodge is located
amongst massive granite rock boulder and it is just
beautiful.

DAY 12:
Today you will start out early with a 3 hour drive in an
open vehicle to see some of the numerous pre-historic
rock paintings. You will have lunch and then continue on
to Vingerklip lodge. This lodge is beautiful and nestled in
a valley, near the rock formations from where it gets its
name from. You can take a short walk from the lodge to
the vingerklip, definitely a rewarding experience.
Overnight at Vingerklip lodge.
Accommodation: Vingerklip lodge
Activities: 3 Hour drive to see some animals and pre
historic rock paintings.
DAY 13:
After breakfast we will be leaving for the famous Etosha
National Park. You will arrive there around lunch time,
have lunch and after lunch have your first game viewing
drive into the park. Overnight at Toshari Inn Lodge.

Activities: Etosha National Park
DAY 14:
You will spend the whole day in Etosha National Park
game viewing. You can have lunch at Halali and then
continue with game viewing in the afternoon. Etosha
means “dry water” or “large white place”. You will see
elephants, lions, white rhino, black rhino, leopard,
cheetah, hyena, zebra, all kinds of antelope, bat eared
fox, you name it. Overnight again at Toshari Inn Lodge.

Activities: Etosha National Park
DAY 15:
After breakfast travel through Tsumeb and Otjiwarongo
to Mount Etjo Safari Lodge. This is one of the best lodges
with the most variety game you would experience in
Namibia. Try to be in time for lunch, have lunch and do a
game drive in the afternoon. After dinner you will go to
a lion feed. This is a awesome experience. Overnight at
Mount Etjo Safari Lodge.
DAY 16:
Return to Windhoek to catch your flight home. Your tour
guide will drop you off at the airport.
