Mission Statement - Joslyn Sunbank Company

unbank has been in the interconnect accessory business for
more than 40 years. The company started in the late 1950's
when major technical advances in the electronic cable and
connector industry led the way for specialization in the design
and manufacture of backshells and connector accessories.
Sunbank originated in Burbank, California, and moved to the
current location in Paso Robles, California, in 1982. In 1988, the
Joslyn Corporation purchased the business which was subsequently bought by the Danaher Corporation
in 1995; today, Sunbank is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Danaher Corporation.
The Sunbank facilities operate on the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS). This system is
based on the approach of total employee involvement that focuses on the voice of the customer,
continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing methodology.
