WEBER LAKE 7 TURTLE FLAMBEAU FLOWAGE ISLANDS There are rustic campsites available on various islands of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, some of which have permit camping. For further information about camping on the flowage, visit the DNR website. West of Upson off Hwy. 77, take a right on Upson Lake Rd.; fire pits, boat launching area, fishing. Camping, Park Closes at 10:00 P.M. West of Hurley on Hwy. 77 in Iron Belt, right on County E; Weber Lake has 11 campsites which include 9 electrical sites and 2 nonelectrical. Water is available. Pit toilets with changing area. Boat launch, new playground and swimming area. ATV trail access. First come, first serve. Self registration SAXON HARBOR 8 POTATO RIVER FALLS (Rustic) 2 Miles west of Gurney via Hwy.169; trails, waterfalls, trout fishing. SHAY'S DAM On the Turtle River south of Fisher Lake. Has 5 camping units, picnic area, tables, toilets, boat ramp, and fishing. On Lake Superior, West on U.S. 2, North on Hwy. 122, turn left to Harbor, Saxon Harbor Campground has 43 campsites, 33 electrical, 5 lakeside tent sites and 5 secluded walk-in tent sites. The campground also has a playground, water available, restrooms, showers, dump station, and new pavilion with kitchen facility. ATV trails can be accessed from Saxon Harbor. Reservations are available by calling the Forestry Department, or during the camping season at Saxon Harbor 715-893-2370. $10 reservation fee applies. WREN FALLS 9 (access via Vouges Rd, Gurney) 1 rustic campsite, privy (no ATV access) FOSTER FALLS 10 (access via Sullivan Fire Lane, Saxon)1 rustic campsite, privy (no ATV access) 11 SCHOMBERG PARK 80 Acres on Layman's Creek. Hwy. 51 North of Oma. Picnic area, tables, 10 electrical sites, 4 walk-in tent sites, fire pits, drinking water, rest rooms with showers, hiking trails, trout fishing, dump station, picnic area, tables, ATV trail access, ATV washing station, swings, and slides. 12 LAKE OF THE FALLS 40 Acres on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, 5 Miles West of Mercer via County FF; The park has 3 separate camping areas. Side 1 has electrical campsites, pavilion, pit toilets, water and boat ramp. Quiet Side 2 has lakeside campsites, no electricity, pit toilet, and water. Popular Side 3 has electrical, pit toilets, and water No reservations, first come, first served. Self registration. No ATV access.
