Tops - Girls and Boys
1. A solid colored, collared shirt from the following list of colors:
• white
• black
• navy
• light blue
• gray
Allowed: Solid colored, collared shirt in the above colors
Not Allowed: T-shirt, no collar, not solid, stripes, color block, pattern

2. The shirts must be a solid color with no words, pictures
or ornaments on the front or back. A small insignia will be
allowed as long as it is smaller than the size of a quarter.
Allowed: Small insignia
Not Allowed: Insignia larger than the size of a quarter
(actual size of a quarter)

3. Sleeve length should be at mid-bicep or longer.
No cap sleeves.
Allowed: Mid-bicep sleeve, 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve

1. Solid colored pants from the following list of colors:
• black
• navy
• gray
• khaki
Allowed: Solid colored pants in the above colors
Not Allowed:
• Skinny pants
• Skin tight pants
• Jeans of any kind
• Colored denim
• Cargo pants
• Sweatpants
• Rivets, studs, or
other decorations
on pants

Bottoms - Girls
1. Girls must wear skirt styles from the specific list below.
Only these skirts will be permitted (see pages 6-8).
2. Skirts must be purchased in an appropriate size and fit;
not snug, form fitting or clingy. Please note that not all
sales staff may be aware of the specifics of our guidelines
with regards to fit.
3. Skirts must cover the knee when sitting and standing.
4. Skirts must be one of the following colors:
• black
• navy
• gray
• khaki

Accessories

solid colored sweater, vest or sweatshirt from the following list of colors
may be worn on top of a solid colored, collared shirt.
• burgundy (not red)

Not Allowed: color block

ot Allowed: sweaters, sweatshirts or vests with words,
pictures, stripes, pattern or color block.
3. As an exception, sweatshirts manufactured by Flatbush
for school spirit will be allowed (even though they may
have words and pictures on them) ex. senior sweatshirts,
team sweatshirts, etc.
Footwear
1. C
losed toe and closed back shoes, sneakers or boots must be worn in school at all times.
2. F or Boys footwear: No neon or bright colors, such as red and orange.
3. No blinking lights, sparkles or sequins on footwear.
4. No Heelys or wheeled footwear
5. Girls may wear solid colored knee highs, tights and leggings that go to the ankle
in the following solid colors.
• navy
• black
• gray
• white
