Resurrection Reflections - Resurrection Lutheran Church
Volume 7, Issue 2 August 2015 OUR MISSION Live the Faith! Lift High the Cross! OUR VISION We will grow in faith and numbers by seeing Christ in one another in all we say and do! =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Pastor’s Ponderings ELCA National Youth Gathering MyKenzie, Victoria, Brady and I met up with people from Reformation, Cross of Glory, and Christ Lutheran to begin our trip to Detroit for the ELCA National Youth Gathering on a Sunday morning. We drove to just outside Chicago on the first day and then it was on to Detroit on Monday morning. We had to account for the time zone change and the fact that we already had tickets for a Ford Rouge Factory Tour. It was very interesting to see the famed assembly line in action. We were also able to go to the Historic Trinity Lutheran Church for worship and a tour. On Tuesday, we learned about the underground railroad and explored Greek Town, complete with an authentic Greek meal with Flaming Cheese! Opa! Wednesday evening the Gathering officially began with a mass gathering in Ford Field. But, before the excitement of 30,000 Lutherans gathered together, we toured the Motown Museum. Seeing the famous site where the Jackson 5, The Temptations, and The Supremes recorded! Page 1 * Among the 30,000 Lutherans gathered in Ford Field, we saw Paxton Leaf! Thursday, Proclaim Justice Day, we were sent out into the neighborhoods of Detroit. We discovered what a logistical challenge it can be to send 10,000 Lutherans into the community. We were on a shuttle bus each morning of the Gathering by 7:15am to get downtown for the day and did not return to our hotel before 11:00pm each night. While we arrived at our work site 3 hours later than expected, we were still able to have a positive outcome in the neighborhood. We helped to clean up an abandoned lot by clearing trash and cutting down overgrown brush and grass. We stacked over 75 tires that had been discarded in an empty garage. We were very tired by the end of the day. Friday, Proclaim Story Day, we gathered with 400 of our closest friends from the Central States Synod for Bible Study and Worship with Bishop Gustafson. We also celebrated the anniversary of my ordination at the Hard Rock Café! Saturday, Proclaim Community Day, had us in the Interaction Center. This was a day to learn about the many hats that the ELCA wears to be Gods hands and feet in the world. The youth learned about ELCA World Hunger and participated in the Walk for Water. They also had the opportunity to sit in a wheelchair and maneuver through an obstacle course designed to show them how difficult life can be for those who have mobility challenges. The day ended at Ford Field with a performance by SKILLET!! Sunday morning we arrived at Ford Field for closing worship with Presiding Bishop Elizabeth A. Eaton. It is amazing to see communion shared among 30,000 gathered together. You could feel that the Holy Spirit was gathering these youth and preparing to send them out into the world for great things. In an effort to avoid the traffic leaving downtown Detroit we crossed the street and went to the Detroit Tigers baseball game for a few hours. We then drove through the night and arrived home in Wichita at 9:00am on Monday morning. I’m certain that all 35 of us on the bus took naps that day to catch up on the missed sleep over the week. Thank you to the congregation for supporting the youth and helping to make this trip possible. The Lord Be With You, Robert Nunn =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 1 Corinthians 12:12-20 12 Page 3 * Who’s That Lutheran? There were 21 active Bingo players that came to join the fun and celebrate their birthdays. Everyone won a prize.. or two… or more - no one went home empty handed! It was a fun event and all participants had a good time, even when their number refused to come out of the hopper! Thank You to all the participants for this annual event! Earnings from this fun event help fund attendees to youth gatherings. See you next July!! Page 6 Vacation Bible School 2015 - Everest By Pam Porsch VBS was held June 22-26 from 6-8:30pm. We had 28 children participate in Everest VBS, where the kids discovered what it means to hold on to God’s mighty power in everyday life. Each evening began at Base Camp Sing & Play where Trek told his story of his desire to climb Mt. Everest and the problems he encountered and how God helped him overcome all the predicaments he faced. Each evening the kids participated in memorable Bible-learning activities, sang catchy songs, played teamworkbuilding games, ate some yummy treats, experienced oneof-a-kind Bible adventures, and tested out some Sciency-Fun Gizmos that they took home every evening. Each day concluded with family and friends joining with the kids for Summit Celebration which got everyone involved in living what they learned. Organizers were Pam and Heather Porsch. Leaders for the stations were Pastor Elizabeth, Karolyn Braun, Karen Vogt, Tressa Vogt, Bert Kirkpatrick, Rory Cummings, Eric Braun, Loretta Holmes, Vicki Larsen, Trudy Doll, Trisha Clevenger, Nicki Christensen, William Casteel, Jayci Gonzales, MyKenzie McKusker, Ashley Chin, Victoria Tjaden, Trace Tjaden, Derrick Marshall, Trey Gonzales, Avery Schill, Natasha Braun, and many more volunteers helped each night. Thank you to all the volunteers, the congregational members that donated items for the week and the parents for bringing the kids! We had an AWESOME time!! **INVITE** Area 5 News Area Ministry 5 people honored at Synod Assembly Several Area Ministry 5 Pastors, an Associate in Mission (AIM) and a Parish Ministry Associate (PMA) were honored at the Synod Assembly. Larry Frank, PMA, Pr. Larry Blue, St. John’s and Pr. Dave Fulton, St. Paul’s-Wichita are pictured here. Congratulations to Pastor Sally! Congratulations to Pastor Sally Fahrenthold. Pastor Sally has been recognized by the League of Women Voters Wichita-Metro as an "Outstanding Woman of Wichita" and is featured in their 95th Anniversary Calendar for her outstanding work in the community. Two Area 5 people were elected at the Synod Assembly. Brittany Garrelts Christ-Wichita was elected to be a Young Adult Voting Member of the next Churchwide Assembly and Pr. Chad Langdon, Christ-Wichita was elected to Synod Council. Our thanks to Pr. Tom Hallstrom, St. Paul’s-Peabody, who has been our Synod Council Representative. Congratulations to Tim Meyer who graduated from Luther Seminary in May, pictured here with his wife, Donna. He is serving ChristEureka on an interim basis. Resurrection served as Tim’s “teaching congregation” early on in his studies with Luther Seminary’s Distributed Learning Program. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Who’s That Lutheran Answers The League of Women Voters – Wichita Metro produced a calendar in celebration of the 95th anniversary of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote. The calendar on each month’s page features a Wichita-area woman who is involved in community leadership in some way. Pastor Sally Fahrenthold is presented for June 2016, on a page entitled “Our Modern Day Woman is the Epitome of Community Activist.” It says, “Sally Fahrenthold, a Lutheran Minister with a keen awareness of all people. She has established food programs for children through ‘Bridge the Gap.’ With her quiet, gentle manner, she stands for the unrepresented. She is also fun to know!” On the calendar page for August 2016, Betty Ladwig, member of St. Paul, Wichita, is recognized as a member of League of Women Voters. It says, “Betty Ladwig has spent years registering and educating voters. Her work with the less fortunate and children has provided those in our community with hope.” =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. Hebrews 6:10 Page 7 **ENCOURAGE** Camp Tomah Shinga Thank you for letting me go this year. I had fun again. I went on hikes, the rock wall and swimming. The best one of all was swimming. I learned how to play one song on the piano. It was Mary Had a Little Lamb. I like their songs. My favorite is trumpet sounds. Thank you for letting me go. - Taeden Marshall Thank you for making it possible for me to go to camp for the fourth time. What I did was go on hikes, the rock wall, and go swimming. I got to learn how to play 3 songs on the piano. I would love to play them for you. This year was great. My favorite song is Baby Shark DoDoDo. We got to go on the rock cross. I got to paint a rock for it. It was hot all week, but we had lots of fun. We appreciate it a lot. - Love Derick Krueger - Brynna Christiansen Page 8 Camp Tomah Shinga was my first camp ever! I had so much fun that next year I want to go for a full week! My favorite part about camp was playing games. One of the games we played, we had to try to make it to one of the councelors with still having our bible and not being "caught." My counselors were Rosie and Anna, they were fun! Thank you WELCA for making it possible for me to go to camp. - Madison Clevenger I had lots of fun at camp! I got to learn new songs and play new games. One night we had a talent show. And we had a night when we got to play water games. We got soaked! I even got to go zip lining! The kids and staff there were very nice. Most of the girls in my cabin group were from a church in Springfield, Missouri. - Avery Schill Tomah Shinga was better than I thought it would be and I thought it was going to be super fun! We painted rocks and put them on the hillside rock cross. We also played a game called Romans and Christians, it was very fun! The pool there was very refreshing (but a little green) when it is like 100 degrees! I would love to go next year! - Carlie Schill Just like every other year, my week at Camp Toma Shinga was amazing, and so much fun. It is such a wonderful place to spend time in nature and expand your knowledge about God; all while making new friends and doing so many great activities. Starting and ending the day with worship, eating yummy home cooked meals, along with camp games in the evening is definitely a great way to spend your week. And since this was my last year, it was an even greater experience. - MyKenzie McKusker **ENCOURAGE** I went to Horse Camp at Camp Tomah Shinga last week and it was amazing. Sunday was just like any normal day at camp. Monday we rode on a bus to a near-by 4H camp. There we learned about horses, went on trail rides and practiced our calf roping. Around noon we came back to camp and had normal bible camp, which consisted of bible study, swimming, games, rope course, quiet time and worship. Thursday was our last day with the horses, and Friday around noon our parents came and picked us up. - Natasha Braun My name is Emma Atcheson and the first time I went to Camp Tomah Shinga horseback riding camp it was scary because I thought I was going to fall off and die. It ended up being great because you would get the same horse everyday so you had a good bond with her. My horse was Peaches and she was great. The first day you would do a short trail and then the second day it was longer - it becomes longer each day. The great thing is that you can do horse camp for half of the day and regular camp the next half which makes it exciting. They have worship in the morning on the bus on the way to the horses and at night back at camp. Worship is where you sing a lot of songs and do skits about God. At the very end there's a talent show where the whole group can do something. If you want you can do an act by yourself and have other people join. My group did the furniture skit it was the most exciting skit I've done in my past three years at Camp Tomah Shinga. If you go to horseback riding camp, always be confident around the horse; they can sense your fear. I learned that at camp. It was a great experience and I challenged myself to ride even though I was scared and I did not get one single tick this year. I also challenged myself to try new foods and they were delicious! Even if you don't do the horseback riding, Camp Tomah Shinga is so much fun and I wish all kids had the chance to go. I want to go back next year and be a camp counselor when I grow up! - Emma Atcheson National Youth Gathering Thanks to the Congregation for the support for us to get to go. It was a very good experience. I really liked meeting new people and getting closer with people I already knew from the Wichita area. My favorite part of the gathering was the service project day. We worked with a congregation from Puerto Rico. I would love to go again! - Brady Helton My experience in Detroit, Michigan is unforgettable. Not just from the people and their way of life, but how I got closer to God by doing what we were made to do. The environment was just amazing from the historical churches to the Motown Museum. I really enjoyed the interaction with the community members and other Lutherans from across the nation. The sermons that were spoken by the presenters at the gathering were touching because they had their story and then shared it with us. It gave us an understanding of how hard and difficult their journey was. The most exciting part for me was when we went to the Motown Museum and got to see all of the artists and their history of how they made it big. I also enjoyed the experience of when we got to go out into the community and help rise up what had perished. I met tons of new people and made new friends along the way. The list could go on and on. I hope I can have an experience like this again and dig deeper in to what God has in store for me! - Victoria Tjaden Our week spent in Detroit was an amazing experience. I can’t pinpoint one exact day or activity as being my favorite for the week. The entire week in itself was my favorite event. National Youth Gathering events are a great way to help out a community and learn a different culture without even leaving your own country. You meet so many different people from California to Puerto Rico. They make you look at your own community when you come back. And I was blessed enough to be able to go to two gatherings. Many thanks to the congregation for helping me get there and have a wonderful time. - MyKenzie McKusker Page 9 **SERVE** WELCA Book & Bake Sale The bake sale portion of this event is a delicious memory as it occurs only on the opening day of this month long fundraiser. You may have wondered what happened to the "leftovers" from the book part of the Book & Bake sale that WELCA promoted recently. Those items were packed into boxes and bags, then carted to fill the trunk of my car (and half the back seat) for a journey to a nearby DAV store. A gentleman there gladly received your generous donations and loaded them into the DAV truck for further distribution. So if you happen to recognize something you donated in another location, thank you for your assistance in keeping it in circulation amongst those who benefit from our abundant blessings! They do not get destroyed at the end of the sale period, as some may have wondered. Each year WELCA uses the funds from this project to grant scholarships to our youth attending Camp Tomah Shinga. 2015 is a high record year with 10 campers; five are first-times, two girls have chosen the week of Horse Camp. Resurrection Lutheran Church members are kind-hearted and generous people! Thank you, Anita Johnson =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= 50₵ Greeting Cards Yep! WELCA maintains a supply of boxed greeting cards and for those who need only one card, 50₵ cards. Boxed cards are $5 for 12 cards. You’ll find birthday, get-well, sympathy, thank you, graduation, baptism, confirmation, wedding, anniversary, thinking-of-you and Christmas cards. Nearly all cards have Bible verses. Check out the supply in the Fellowship Hall. There’s a separate box of single cards and an envelope for payments. Why spend $3-$5 for a greeting cards when you can get beautiful cards for 50₵ or less? Page 10 WELCA Fall Bible Study - ‘Slow Faith’ By Evelyn Clark What are the theological wages of our ever speeding-up, productivity-based society? What are the theological gifts or blessings that reside in the invitation to slow down? The Scripture offers a vision for living in God’s time. The September WELCA Bible study begins a 3session offering of a Biblical vision for pacing our lives entitled “Slow Faith.” Women of the ELCA/WELCA meet the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. at the church for Bible study, fellowship, and lunch. Make plans to join us. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Bad Girls Bible Study Our happy and well fed group (we enjoy healthy snacks) very much enjoys Bible study based on books and videos authored by Liz Curtis. Her writing style is captivating and the studies allow for as much or as little advance preparation as you wish. Bad Girls are presently engrossed in a study of Ruth, “The Girl’s Still Got it”. Author Joanna Weaver’s commentary about the book, “With delightful humor and well-researched insight, we see Ruth’s story as it truly is----the story of you and me.” Bad Girls will be delighted to have you join us for this 10:00 a.m. fourth Saturday fellowship and study. Our next study, also authored by Liz Curtis, is entitled, ”It’s Good to be Queen”. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Correction Oooops! In the previous newsletter we mistakenly listed Anita Johnson as author of two poems. Actually Anita is the faithful contributor, but the poems, having no known author, should be attributed to that famous author, ‘Anonymous’. **SERVE** Sandwich Saturday Veteran’s Honor Flight by Pam Porsch by Keith Evans Our youth make 200 lunches that each contained a bologna and cheese sandwich, chips, banana and a bottle of water. We deliver the sack lunches to St John's Episcopal Church at 402 N. Topeka, Wichita where the less fortunate gather to receive this meal. This is a wonderful outreach for our church to participate in - all are invited to help, this event is not limited to our youth. This past June 13, 14, 15, I had the good fortune to take the Honor Flight to Washington, D. C. The American people at the airports and the memorials showed much respect and honor to us veterans; it really gets you. I toured the WW11, Korean, Vietnam memorials and also Arlington National Cemetery, which I enjoyed very much. They wanted us to ride in wheel chairs if you had problems walking. My son, Ron, went along to push the wheelchair and assist boarding the bus. The food and our quarters were fine. I highly recommend to veterans that haven’t gone on an Honor Flight to go. Respectfully, Keith Evans Resurrection’s youth has participated in Sandwich Saturday for several years. Our next Saturday is August 22 and our final one this year is October 24. All Area 5 Lutheran Churches split up the fourth Saturday of each month schedule and we had 3 months in 2015 (April, August & October). Keith Evans served in the Navy during the Korean War, 1951- 1954. St. John's Episcopal Church hosts Sandwich Saturday every Saturday with churches from the Wichita area taking part by choosing a Saturday to provide 200+ lunches. Aldersgate Methodist Church serves every fifth Saturday of each month. They have been doing this for over 30 years. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Upcoming YMT Events by Pam Porsch August 22 & October 24 – Sandwich Saturday 9:30noon. All members are invited to join with us to make this outreach project a success. See Pam or Loretta with any questions. October 3 – Bierocks or Lefse anyone?! Mark your calendars! December 5 – Need some time to do some Christmas shopping or wrapping without staying up until the wee hours of the morning? Bring the kids to our annual Sitting 4 Shopping for shopping from 10am – 2pm. The kids always have a wonderful time making several craft projects and listening to the Christmas Story. Lunch will be $3/child and monetary donations will be accepted for the crafting/babysitting time. January 2016 – Be on the lookout for the Fourth Annual YMT Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Auction. Get out your best chili and dessert recipes and dust them off - the challenge will be here shortly! Page 11 **SERVE** Pillowcase Dresses Through an earlier Area 5 newsletter article from Glennyce Reimers of Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita, Resurrection WELCA was inspired and joined their Thrivent Action Team project recently. Resurrection WELCA completed twenty six dresses. Dresses were also made by St Paul Lutheran and Reformation bringing the total to 226 dresses! These simple dresses are sent to young girls in our country as well as in warm climates around the world. They are a delight to make. This project is a Thrivent Action Team project and Orphan Grain Train based in Norfolk, Nebraska. Orphan Grain Train is a recognized service organization (RSO) of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). Orphan Grain Train’s outreach is interdenominational in that we also partner with other Christian churches involved in disaster relief efforts here in the United States and other countries whenever it is practical to do so. Orphan Grain Train volunteers are members of Lutheran churches and other Christian denominations. Property Committee Update Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, It is hard to believe that 2015 is already half over and has been a very busy year so far for the Property Committee. In February, the Committee held a Valentine’s brunch and was able to raise over $220 in a free will offering. Also, the Committee has held some very successful cleanup days, where weeds were pulled, the blue shed was cleaned out, the playground equipment was tightened and stained, the yard hydrant was installed, the bushes were trimmed, painting of the restrooms and office was completed, and many other items were accomplished. We heartily thank all those who helped to make these days a success. As we look towards the remaining part of the year, there are still a lot of things the Property Committee has planned. Be on the lookout for a fall fundraiser and a project concerning the monument, just to name a couple. An important reminder that your Property Committee meets the first Wednesday of the month and all are welcome to attend. In God’s Peace, Rory Cummings for The Property Committee =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun—blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen. Exodus 35:25 Page 12 **SPOTLIGHT** Spotlight on Marty and Roberta Gould Anyone attending worship at Resurrection has likely had the opportunity to hear Roberta and/or Marty Gould, our church pianists as they fill our sanctuary with beautiful music before, during and following worship. They share their musical gifts generously, offered with joy and competence. Roberta was born in St. Joseph, MO. At age 5, she accepted Jesus as her savior and was baptized by immersion at age 10. Her deceased pastor parents both ordained for over 60 years served a number of churches. She has one brother, 9 years younger. By age 7, Roberta’s parents recognized her musical gift and bought her a piano which she still has. In high school, she played both organ and piano for church, and in school was the accompanist for musical groups. Roberta worked at church youth camps and at age 14, travelled to Nogales, Mexico with her first mission trip and several other mission trips followed. In addition to music, favorite things growing up were reading, and listening to professional baseball on her little transistor radio. While living in Illinois, ‘her’ teams were the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. As a special one-time treat she was able to attend a game for each team. Roberta graduated high school in Freeport, Illinois and enrolled in Central Bible College in Springfield, MO in 1971, majoring in music and child psychology. She tried out for the college’s traveling choir, the Revivaltime Choir, one of the twenty students chosen from the hundred who applied. Although, he wasn’t present at Roberta’s try-out, later she did meet Marty, the choir’s organist. They fell in love and after two years in college, Roberta received her ‘MRS Degree’ when she and Marty were married on May 25 th, 1973 – over 42 happy years ago. They have three grown sons and ten grandchildren living in Florida, Georgia and Wichita. Throughout their marriage, Roberta has been Marty’s support staff and an organizer. Both she and Marty have written various articles that have been published in magazines and books. Roberta is a trained para-professional and has been working in the Haysville school system with middle school age children for 14 years. She supports the Christian club, ‘Kids Caring for Christ’ which meets early mornings before school. This past year this group grew to 45 kids. She plans to retire ‘on paper’ next June, but will be able to continue her work until she feels she is done. Roberta loves to read faith based mysteries and belongs to a book club. She enjoys shopping and watching movies. Marty was born in Salina, KS the oldest of four children, 2 sisters and 1 brother, now deceased. For his Dad’s work, at age 7 the family moved to Denver where he graduated from high school. The family attended an Assemblies of God Church where his folks always “took them to church” and he loved it. Marty accepted Jesus as his savior at age 5 and was baptized by immersion at age 12. Their church pianist taught Marty piano for four years. He has a gift for playing by ear, and then also learned to play written music. He sang in his church choir as a youth and recalls especially loving Sunday afternoon visits to a nursing home to play piano for their church services. He was recruited by a church member to play for some services at the Denver Rescue Mission. Page 13 * Marty loved magic and would put on magic shows for his family in their basement. Marty also loved to cook and on occasion he would cook for his family which he still does sometimes today. Roberta says, “He is a good cook too!” His family often went camping together in the mountains around Denver where Marty learned outdoor living skills from his beloved father. These skills were perfected and put to good use in Boy Scouts as Marty worked to become an Eagle Scout. Marty had a passion for radio and broadcasting. During his high school years, he assisted at a local station. After being accepted at a radio broadcasting school, he felt uneasy continuing in that direction. As a young man of faith, he asked God for direction and was led to Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. Although he hadn’t the money to attend this private college, through prayer, the means materialized. Through his youth, Marty had listened weekly to his denomination’s worldwide radio program, Revivaltime, aired on over 600 radio stations. His dream of one day being a part of this choir came true when he applied for and became the organist for the choir and radio program, serving for 31/2 years. During this time he earned a BA degree in Bible Studies, and a minor in Music, and he met a girl named Roberta who sang in the choir. Marty was ordained in the Illinois District and for almost 30 years served in churches throughout the nation. He was honored when he was chosen to serve for three years on a National Music Committee for his denomination. Looking back now after serving large churches through the years, Marty comments that he felt the most joy in making hospital and nursing home visits. In 1996, Marty states he lost his health and was unable to work for over ten years. During this difficult time he and Roberta recall standing in a food line on Christmas –a real test of their faith. They relate that “God provided blessings in many ways and our needs were always met.” With his medical doctor’s suggestion, he was able to secure a part time bus aide position with the transportation department for USD 261, working with the special needs children. Marty also loves to read the Bible, books on religion and politics. His love for radio persists to this day. While Resurrection was searching for a church pianist in late 2006, Resurrection Pastor Tim Leaf, together with former member Linda Rowe and Paul Greene, then pastor of River of Life Church, Haysville, an offer was made to Roberta to become a contract musician for the church. Marty has enjoyed serving alongside Roberta in providing music each week for our worship services. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Fischer, Olsie Y. 83, retired Insurance Underwriter, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015.
