“My aim with these new collections has been to create a range of lamps with a
more contemporary feel without losing the skills intrinsic to the British art-form of
Potichomania.
This mirrors the move we have recently made from our 17th century farmhouse to a light
and airy eco house in rural Devon. Here our antique furniture lies comfortably side by
side with many contemporary features.
The combination of traditional craftsmanship and simplicity of line and design is
influenced by my love of Japanese artwork, which is reflected in the addition of more
contemporary shapes and also in the themes of cherry blossom, magnolia, iris and orchid.
My latest collection of honeysuckle, butterflies and birds reflects the abundance of wild flowers
and wildlife in the surrounding hedgerows of our Devon home. Each image has been carefully
painted by a talented local botanical artist to my specifications.”

Our new shade section allows the more discerning buyer to individually select shades for their base only
purchases. Although we have selected an appropriate shade throughout the catalogue we appreciate that some
buyers prefer to add their own personal touch.
Our collection is also perfect where customers want to simply refresh the look and purchase a replacement shade
for their favourite lamp.
The collection includes reversible drums which make great non-elec pendants, tapered shades in a variety of
colours, and of course our classic pleated shades.
Our shades are available in a variety of materials, including silk, cotton and polysilk and are offered in different
sizes and colours.
