As you can see by our summer calendar, we have scheduled some awesome activities
for our students. Most of all take time to enjoy family, fun in the sun, and READ!
May 23 was Awards Day!
Our students had a fantastic year and did a great job~
Presidential Academic Award Recipients
Academic Excellence ~ These students have maintained a 3.5 or above gradepoint
average while at Osmond Elementary. The other criteria is that they score 90% or
higher in either math or language throughout the 3 years in their MAP testing.

Honors Reader
Osmond's students are Super Readers!~
Mrs Hunsaker handed out the year end Honors Reader awards and we are proud of our super readers.
Louie Johnson loves to read as is evidenced by her receiving the
coveted 3rd Reading Honors. This means she earned a whopping 750
points. 37.5 of those points were non-fiction.
2nd Honors went to Joseph Thompson, Holly Draney, Louie Johnson,
Cooper Thompson, Allison Bates, Isabel Hinton & Jacob Knighton.
1st Honors recipients are: Karter Jenkins, Elsie Pieper, Zach Patterson,
Shelby Oviatt, Hyden Veigel, Josie Linford, Thomas Cunningham, Jaden

Weed & Pest Essay
6th grade Essay Contest ~
Every year Lincoln County Weed & Pest provides
an educational assembly and sponsors an essay contest for
our 6th graders. Winners of this contest receive a certificate
and various amounts in cash prizes. We are privleged to
have 1st, 2nd, & 3rd placings in our school and also the first
place winner overall!

Extra Effort may earn you a Black Belt!~
Band students worked extra hard to see if they could earn a
Black Belt. During the year the students pictured to the right have put
in lots of extra effort to work their way up the ranks. Ryder Haderlie was
able to practice his way to the top and earn the coveted Black Belt!
