No new investment in vehicles because the
existing vehicles with the installed crane and
reception hopper can discharge underground
containers and remain in function for discharge
of standard containers. Discharge time of
underground container is 3 to 4 minutes and it is

The underground container KORALI consists of:

installation space is limited and the number of
users are adequate to the capacity of the container.

SITE SELECTION FOR INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND CONTAINERS
A. Site selection:

• Define the consent and permission of the relevant municipal and state authorities to set up an
underground container to the specified location in accordance with the requirements and
recommendations of the Department of Urban Planning.
• Position of the containers must be out of the underground installations to avoid damage during
installation.
• Position of the containers must be out of the overhead wiring, trees and buildings so they can be
discharged using the crane.
• Position of containers must be accessible to vehicle with a crane for discharging the container.
• Select the location where most waste is disposed of and in accordance with that define the number
of containers on the site.

INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND CONTAINERS
B. Installation of underground containers:
Installation of underground containers includes the following activities:
1. Construction work on the installation of plastic tank:
• Preparation and marking the ground for digging (marking the base for the excavation, the center of axis,
ground level ("0") of which will be calculated depth of cut and other measures of height).
"0" is the level of access paths, terraces and landscaped areas.
• Automated or manual excavation by the manufacturer directions.
• Set the plastic tank.
• Backfill and compaction of earth in layers around the tank.
• Loading and transportation of surplus excavated soil to the landfill.

3. Installation of the case of container:
• Set lower ring (filled with concrete) and control of stable suspension and leveling.
• Setting up the assembly of the sides on the lower ring which is already assembled and securing positions
of assembly of the sides and the tank using the limiter .
• Setting up a large cap with pre-mounted bag.
• Mandatory testing of all functional parts after installation.
• The stickers with instructions and warnings can be set for safe use of containers.

LOADING AND EMPTYING OF UNDERGROUND CONTAINERS

Loading of the underground containers of waste by inserting through a hole in the lid, which is
self-dropdown. At the cover of the container there are labels and instructions for use.
Empty the underground containers by removing the large cover with the bag using hydraulic crane on a
standard truck for waste transportation. Emptying is performed over the cargo box or hopper that receives
waste and directs it to the presses for compacting. The bag opens on the bottom by pulling the rope after
which waste turns out due to its own weight without being able to remain and stuck the bag. Then put down
the bag with lid , close the bottom of bag using the rope on lower, marked part and block the rope by
mechanism to help prevent the opening of the bag. Back the bag in a tank and set the big lid on container
case in position before emptying containers.
Emptying of the container and returning to the original position lasts for 3-4 minutes.
Emptying the underground containers may be made using a variety of equipment, even the existing
(trucks-vehicles), with the adaptation and upgrading by hydraulic crans of standard features.
Existing equipment remains in operation and for discharge standard containers.
The best solution for emptying are vehicles of new generation complete equipped for lifting and emptying
of an underground container using remote controls.
According to the customer it can be installed additional equipment for monitoring the fulfillment of
containers and directing vehicles using radio to empty only comletaly full containers which reduces the
total costs .
