Lemon verbena is a species of flowering plant and native to western south America. Lemon verbena leaves are herbal plant well-known for their capacity to prevent oxidative stress, such a chronic inflammation and damage to DNA caused by free radicals. LEVERON-A contains the stabilized and purified acteoside (verbascoside), which is isolated from lemon verbena leaves as a main active compound and is known as a powerful anti-oxidative agent.
