Panthers Group is an Australian organisation providing a ‘world of entertainment’ through multiple
leisure, lifestyle and hospitality experiences for not only greater western Sydney but regional NSW.
With a combined membership of more than 170,000, comprising of 8 licensed venues throughout
NSW, each club provides a wide range of activities for members, their families and guests.
The Panthers Group main business focus is making returns by providing a diversified range of
opportunities to its members, including the Penrith Panthers NRL team.
The Panthers Group takes pride in its position as a community owned organisation. The
contribution a registered club plays in its community varies, however profits of the group provide
improved facilities and benefits to our members and communities including our ‘Panthers on the
Prowl’ Community Development Foundation.
Panthers Group is currently undergoing a major redevelopment with collective investments
envisaged to exceed A$1 billion.
Founded in 1967, the Panthers Group currently employs 1200 people, with revenues of $200 million
and as at October 2013 has assets under management of $A150 million.

Over 84% of all Panthers supporters have a direct connection to the Western Sydney region by
either living in Western Sydney or have a relative that has at some stage lived in Western Sydney.
Penrith Panthers currently hold a confirmed supporter base of over 160,000 supporters in Western
Sydney alone. The central western suburbs from Parramatta to Blacktown hold the largest amount
of Panthers supporters with over 54,000 Panthers supporters, this however is only 9% of the total
rugby league supporters in this region.
Penrith Panthers supporters currently have an older demographic with the average
age sitting at 38 years.
53% of Panthers supporters are Female. The Penrith Panthers have the highest percentage of female
and older supporters than any other NRL supporter base. The Penrith Panthers have the highest
