On behalf of all our partners and friends here this weekend, welcome to the Carlisle Bike Fest! Be this your first visit or
yearly run to Carlisle, you will quickly find that the ride continues on your time at the fairgrounds.
If you like action, the most talked about and asked about
team and event on the Carlisle Fairgrounds, the StarBoyz, are
in the house this weekend pushing the limits of their skills at
the grandstand. You’ll see Freestyle Motocross from across the
grounds as Vater Motorsports brings you their version of aeronautical action.
Central PA’s best motorcycle dealerships, builders and
companies are on site to welcome you to our neighborhood
motorcycle celebration. They are giving away a motorcycle,
sponsoring the burn out contest, bringing Freestyle Motocross to the grounds as well as offering product, service and
motorcycle sales. Look for them on the Midway as well as vendor aisles and indoor displays.
You are sure to find a national vendor base here this
weekend. A number of manufacturers are expected on the
fairgrounds to include Kawasaki, Star Motorcycles, Big Dog
and Boss Hoss. You’ll find a number of Custom V-Twin, Metric
and Sport Bike Builders as well as specialist and distributors
in parts from custom paint to neon with on site installations
available from many.
The Garage-Girls and the Women’s Motorcycle Foundation
are on site for the ladies. Sara Liberte and Jody Perewitz will be
presenting the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover on Saturday. The Women’s Motorcyclist Foundation will be offering
seminars all weekend. Whatever your riding skill, you should
find their expertise and presentations rewarding.
Bands, burnouts, bike shows and more round out this
event. Please see pages 4-11 for our entire schedule of events

When you become separated from your party and are unable to contact them,
go to the Grandstand and Stage area (near the Guest Services trailer) and wait
for them. We page people for emergencies only, no exceptions.
WHEN YOU NEED HELP
Our security staff is here to assist both vendors and spectators. Their office is
home to lost/found items and has first aid supplies and services. The office is
accessible by the ramp at the back (north) of the stage.

PETS
Pets are strongly discouraged for health and safety reasons. If you cannot make
other arrangements for boarding, your pet must be on a leash and policing after
it is required. Your pet must be under your control at all times, and you are fully
responsible for its actions. Any offensive or unsafe action by your pet may result
in expulsion without refund.
TRANSPORTATION
For safety reasons, the use of all personal means of transportation (bikes, scooters,
golf carts, ATVs, motorcycles or minibikes, etc.) is forbidden on the Fairgrounds from
7 a.m.-5 p.m. on all show days. No unlicensed drivers may operate these vehicles at any time. Verification of insurance is required.
WARNING TO ALL ATTENDEES
Dangerous conditions can exist on the Fairgrounds. Due to exposure to the
weather, areas may become slippery or soft. Due to the nature of the goods
displayed, heavy and sometimes dangerous equipment and moving vehicles
are frequently present. Carlisle Productions cannot be responsible for the conduct of vendors and patrons entering these premises. Those who enter the Fairgrounds do so at their own risk.

MEET THE GARAGE GIRLS IN BUILDING T
Sara Liberte and Jody Perewitz will be around all weekend to meet with fans and share their awesome stories of
helping to run successful custom motorcycle shops and
design teams. Read about their Ultimate Biker Makeover
on page 35.
SARA LIBERTE is owner operator of RT’s North Hills Cycle, Inc.
in Pittsburgh. There she designs
custom paint work, custom builds
cycles and manages the parts
and service of the shop. Sara has
been working with motorcycles
for the last 12 years and recently
penned the book “How to Repair
and Maintain American V-Twin Motorcycles.” Also known
for her writing and photography, Sara has worked as a
free-lancer covering all aspects of the motorcycle world.
JODY PEREWITZ has been surrounded by motorcycles her
whole life as a part of the family
business. Jody’s family business
just happens to be one of the
most notable custom motorcycle
shops in the country: Perewitz
Cycle Fabrications. Jodi has had
her hand in numerous motorcycle builds coming out of Perewitz Cycle Fabrications,
including her own 1963 Panhead. In addition to building
and her everyday duties as part of the Perewitz team, Jody
coordinates marketing and their website perewitz.com.

Ground-breaking custom builder and shop owner Sam
Nehme and his crew from BMS Choppers are known for
their award winning custom metric choppers. Nehme-sis,
Got Rake, Sini-Star and many of their other builds have
taken top honors at the Rats Hole show, Metzeler Custom
Bike Show, Las Vegas Metric Revolution and here at Carlisle
Bike Fest. Nehme is most recognized as the winner of TV’s
Metric Revolution - Biker Build-Off. It was on that show
that he beat out 10 other builders to win a $50,000 grand
prize in 2006. Don’t miss the chance to check out the BMS

and his crew have been working on bikes for over 20 years.
TOCC has and continues to set the standard for custom
sport bikes. Steve was one the first on the custom sport

FIGHTER FEST
JUDGED SHOW ON SATURDAY
Carlisle Fighter Fest, presented by Karns Performance, was
introduced to the Carlisle Bike Fest in 2008. It was one of
the first shows to recognize European Streetfighter styling
in the USA. Streetfighter is a customized sport bike with
aggressive riding options: wide handle bars, short tails and
mean looking fairings. The main philosophy behind these
bikes is “built not bought” – meaning a true fighter is not
something you can ride out of the showroom. The Fighter
scene started in England in the 1980’s and quickly spread
throughout Europe. The Custom Fighters Magazine and
Forum are the driving force behind the Carlisle Fighter Fest
and the growing popularity of fighters throughout the U.S.
Expect to see some of the best bikes in the country here
this weekend. Judging for the Fighter Fest will be from
11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Karns Performance/
Custom Fighters Magazine tent on the Midway (see map),
with awards to follow.

The Carlisle Rat Rod Revival is for fans of “form follows
function.” If you are pushing the engineering and design
limits of rat bikes and rat rods, this show is for you. Live
entertainment will be provided by Head For The Hills.

public got to vote on who
they felt was most deserving on www.garagegirls.com. The runner up,
Judy Reed, is a 52-yearold rider that desperately
needs help fitting her
bike to herself. The grand prize winner, David Bardwell, has
been down on his luck after losing his job at a Chevrolet
dealership and has been forced to sell his house and possessions to care for his family. Both winners will be getting
hooked up with a new riding jacket and gloves from Z1R,
a Vega helmet, Harley-Davidson Footwear boots, a cleaning kit from Wizards Products, a one-year subscription to
IronWorks Magazine, a case of Synthetic oil from Spectro

that time sold ATV’s, Personal Watercraft, Snowmobiles,
Lawn mowers, and used Harley’s. Motor-Vation was purchased by Dixie Miller in August of 1995. In July of 1999,
Polaris Industries introduced Victory motorcycles as the
new American made motorcycle. Thanks to their loyal
customers, Motor-Vation grew at such an aggressive pace
that they outgrew the building they were in. Motor-Vation
moved to 7042 Wertzville Road in Mechanicsburg in 2003.
2006 brought the arrival of Piaggio and Vespa scooters
and in November 2009 Motor-Vation purchased Kawasaki
from Cumberland Cycle in Carlisle. Their success has and
always will be measured by the friends and families that
have done business with Motor-Vation throughout the

March 2004 of complications related to Amyloidosis. Chip may have been diagnosed earlier

disease been greater. Amyloidosis is a disease
caused by the abnormal accumulation of protein
molecules in body tissues. Signs and symptoms
depend on the organs affected. The wide range
of signs and symptoms makes it difﬁcult to diagnose, and there may even be no symptoms.
