Introduction
MUCET 2012 Conference is the sixth conference
organised by technical universities under the
Malaysian Technical Universities Network (MTUN).
MTUN comprise of Universiti Malaysia Perlis
(UniMAP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP),
Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and
Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM). For this
conference, which UniMAP as the host would bring
a little change whereby all the paper presentations
will be hoping to be included in Scopus as
compared to previous conference. This conference
will be held on the 20 – 21 November 2012 at Hotel
Seri Malaysia, Kangar, Perlis and is using the same
conference name as the previous year, which is
Malaysian Technical Universities Conference on
Engineering & Technology 2012 (MUCET 2012).
Objective
The main objective of this conference is to open the
opportunities to MTUN’s lecturers and researchers
for presenting their research works by oral
presentation and broadening the knowledge and
technology to other colleagues. Furthermore, this
conference is also being organised as a platform
where lecturers and researchers from various
MTUNs can share their ideas and information,
which could later on generate strategic
collaborations among them.

There will only be oral presentation sessions, poster
presentations are not available.
The acceptance and presented papers will be
published in the conference proceedings (softcopy
and hardcopy) and selected papers will be published
in MTUN’s Journal of Engineering and Technology,
International Journal of Nanoelectronics and
Materials & International Journal of Business and
Technopreneurship.
Call for Paper

before 13 August 2012 (Monday). Please use the
