ues for 2010 are now due. We have another great
year planned so make sure you’re a part of it! If
you’ve not yet paid your dues, please fill out the
enclosed application and write a check for $30 to West
Penn Miata Club, Inc. Mail to:

ur regional event will have approximately 400 people
attending. That includes club members. The event
registration is closed. If any member would like
to volunteer to help with registration, Funcana, or any
events during MMM 2010, please contact me. We have
several committees working on different things. If you
wish to help with MMM 2010, contact Linda Zimliki at
724-327-1762 or [email protected].
Please note that dues are for the calendar year from
January 1 to December 31 and are not based on when a
member joins.

his year's Tech Session is a little later due to Easter
and Billco's commitments. I'd like to hear ideas
from the membership for this year's Tech Session.

September 4 to Monday, September 6. This is an
event sponsored by the Trillium Club from Canada
with an invitation to WPMC. This year’s event will feature
“Sporty” and “Cruising” groups to accommodate different
driving styles.

nother year of zoomin is just around the corner.
This year we have 19 events and cruises. 17 are
listed and I'm waiting for 2 to pick their date. The
Tech session will be a little later this year due to
Easter. We have some open spaces if anyone wants to do
a cruise. Topless In the Mountains will be limited to a
small number so we are having another cruise that weekend.
It will be on Saturday. Club policy is one cruise per
weekend. If you have an event or another club's event
please forward it to me. I will make sure the membership
gets the information.
las! Winter is over, the snow has melted and spring
is in the air! We look forward to the open highways
and the twisty, winding country back roads where
we can put our Miatas to the test. It is time to take that
car (for some of us) out of the garage, shine it up, put down
the top and let the sun shine in.

events. Our Christmas Party was a huge success especially
with having "Elvis" for our entertainment. The Pittsburgh
Auto Show in February went well. Thanks to all who
participated in this event and made it a success. We
talked to people that own Miatas that did not know about
the West Penn Miata Club. Hopefully, we enticed them to
join.
There are many exciting events and cruises planned for
Miata Mountain Mania 2010 - June 24 - 27, 2010
2010. Our big event is our Regional which will take place
from June 24-27th at Seven Springs Resort in Somerset,
PA. All who have registered are looking forward to an
exciting weekend. Check out the list of car cruises being
planned by members of our club. There are still spots
open for additional cruises. If you have an interest in
heading up a cruise, please get in touch with our Event
Coordinator and she will work you into the schedule.
Later in the summer we will have our picnic. Always a
fun time - Put it on the calendar.
